Likes

Infrastructure and grade of people of our department is very structured and disciplined since its a psychology department we are told to dress very appropriately and not just wear anything short and skin visible
The action cell us very active people cannot bully or use threatening aor inappropriate words with the juniors or seniors since it goes ragging and serious actions will be taken
The library is very resourceful and spacious you can definitely sit there and study peacefully

Dislikes

Faculty approach is very lenient they don’t help you develop skills or give you ideas so that you can earn aor do something else
The faculty approach is very standard they dont want you to explore anything else and just be stick to the subject
The management system is verys low to respond and iculcate any changes into the depart

The course curriculum in terms of relevance is fine they teach you valuable subjucts and tests for upcoming future but aome parts are til unapologetically unnecessary to include in the subject . The course is structured and very much interesting to study throughout the year.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year you carry foward with your 12th scholarship which you get here if you scored 90/85/95% in yiur 12th exam after each year the fees increasesby 5k per semester my first year fess without scholarship was 32k second year it was 37k and last year it is 41k per semester

Campus Life

Your social involvement and the social groups of colleges remain anonymous until you yourself explore it. Amity doesn't have the cultural for arranging such big social grouos and everything. Mostly for psychology ut depends on the students to get ideas and form groups because the previous existing groups hardly gets popular among freshers

Admission

I had no personal reasons for choosing this college over any another. Sunce our batch of 2022 was tge first to witness cuet exams therefore everyone was in a panic and feared what if they couldn't clear the chet and get into a good college many of us to go safe side didn't wait for the cuet results and applied into private universities.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:80 . Al tho our section is divided on papers but physically there's no such thing happening they take one big class of 80 students makes us sit in a small room where people even have to sit in benches . 10 percent of students every semester fails in a subject or more due to below 75% attendance and have to appear for a back paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

I didn't really apply to a lot of colleges, due to some family reasons I was not able to move out of Lucknow.
