ALL ROUNDER

I would say Bharati Vidyapeeth is an amazing place to study and grow. They give a platform to students to enrich the skills to their best and since 75% attendance is compulsory students learn to be regular and punctual. It builds the overall personality of the student.

Since I am pursuing BBA, it comprises all the subjects related to business. They also add subjects like environmental science and Swacch Bharat studies to make students aware of the social aspects too. Overall the subjects taught by them not only make the students good in the business field but also make them aware of the social condition. Earlier Swacch Bharat for me was just a movement started by prime minister Narendra Modi but after studying the subject it automatically made me more practical. The business subjects include everything which one may require during starting or doing business.

So far I have heard the placements are quite good. Students get to work with companies like Yes Bank, American Express, ABP news, Godrej Furnitures, Justdial, Airtel, ICICI Bank, etc. Yes, they do provide on campus and off campus internships. Since I just completed the 1st year, the internship opportunities are given in the 2nd year. So I have not availed any yet.

Our college keeps the interest of the students by conducting regular events like: SPORTS DAY - where students get to participate and compete and get rewards for their performance. WATER CONSERVATION DAY - in which we are asked to carry a rally on the college campus and outside for awareness. REPUBLIC DAY - in which the Dean of our college hoist the flag and march are followed afterward. Also, regular tests are conducted.

There are two types of categories in our college. The first one is the Management list in which students take admission through management quota. The fees for this category is Rs 1,80,000 p.a. The second category is the Merit list in which students take admission through the rank they score in the entrance exam. The fees for this category is Rs 1,20,000 p.a. The college charge for alumni fees Rs 1300 between the session. No other as such noticeable expenses take place. Books are also issued by the library.

No, I have not opted for scholarship or education loan as got admission through merit basis. For higher studies, I may apply for a scholarship.

Overall campus life is quite good, They provide students with various facilities like Canteen, Park, Library, etc. There is a slight imbalance in the gender ratio. Boys are more in number than girls. They conduct competitions every week or two to provide students a platform to work on their skills and talents.

Our college takes care of students even after they pass out. They say 'Once a BVPian always a BVPian'. Seniors in our college are quite helpful, they help in case of any emergencies. Also being the head of societies they help us to keep our attendance up to mark along with extracurriculars.

The first very step of getting admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth University is cracking the entrance exam that is BUMAT. I prepared for entrance by keeping a regular check on daily insights of general knowledge. Most scoring topic in the entrance is logical reasoning which I used to practice 2 hours daily till. After cracking the entrance, the university calls for the counseling round, which usually takes place within a month of the result. The last step is orientation which involves the introduction of college and the criteria of all the necessities.

The faculty of Bharati Vidyapeeth is cooperative and unbiased. They clear topic to every student in the class and keep a regular check through CES and internals. Not only they mentor us in academics but also in various societies like dance, music. enactus, drama. They also stay connected with us on WhatsApp after college hours in case of queries. The teachers are highly professional and experienced and most important of all they are friendly.
