Likes
- i like the campus , most important part, i live in the college more than my room.
- i like the sports activities and co-curricular programs, and the class are so limited we only need to attend 12-13 classes a week this is the best part
- most important there is continuously events are going on in uni, fests, hackathon , competitions and stuff i love that.
Dislikes
- some of the faculty, some assignments, outside campus the area is not good
- we need to get 50 marks out of 100 to pass in the exam
- attendance policy it is 75%, i know every college has this policy but personally i dont want to attend the classes
Course Curriculum Overview
curriculum is good i can say , because its not vtu so curriculum is fully based on university , it mostly focus on practical things not theory except maths . when the sem starts faculty shares all the resourses , ebook, book recommendation which are also available in the library with class notes and pdfs, that is the best thing we can accept from the faculties.
Internships Opportunities
for now there are some going on but i personally dont have any experience and i dont think they are good at what they are doing according to internship , i personallly didnt liked, I think we need to be alert al the time to get notification from the college.
Placement Experience
alliance has good placements , actually last year the highest package was 60 lakhs from california company , this college has around 8.5 lpa has average package. if we listen to faculty and placement cell , we can easily expect goood package from this college. and there are many branches , i personnaly choosed cyber security so in cyber they are limited students so competition becomes less and we can get good jobs
Fees and Financial Aid
1. i pay 1.2lakh fee for a year as i got my admission through kcet. 2.my friend got the admission from management so he pays, 3.5laks for a year. 3.alliance university provides the scholarship based on merits , and for sc st students there is scholarship from government , we get 86 thousand for the first year , and gradually decreases for next coming years , there is no issue for sc st students because there is less fess for them and govt provided good scholarship for them.
Campus Life
they are many fests going on continuosly , the top one was alliance one 2.0 it was held for 3 days , and which i liked the most was haloween night , bollywood night , deepotsav on diwali , and ganesh fests on ganesh visarjan and many more even i can remember.
Admission
i applied to lpu, amc engineering college , i elimiated lpu because its too far from my home and i eliminated amc because it is under vtu , and i choosed alliance because it is a university , in university we get more oppurtunities and stuff, i didnt got rejected from any college i just thought of applying to that colleges but when i read about alliance i just applied to alliance in kcet rounds.
Faculty
yes , there is good faculty to student ration there is 1 faculty for every 5 students , and they are good at what they do and there will be class advisor for every class , if we dont like any faculty we can approach class advisor and we can complain to them and under him almost 4 cr's for every class.
