Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

1. I choose this college because of fees is very reasonable and second thing the faculties are great. 2. Presentation is held in every subject and the dress code is formal dress so it will help in future. 3. There is no as such things to improve. Overall it's great. 4. My exams haven't occurred yet.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

1. The yearly fees for BAMMC is 40000 rs and it seems reasonable as compared to other colleges. I come under SC category so my fees is 30000 rs. 2. Students who belongs to SC category will have to fill scholarship form for fees concession.

Campus Life

4.5

I don't know which festival is there typically held because I'm new admission. College offers sports live box cricket and sports between two individual colleges. Facilities provide within the classroom is projector and I think is very helpful for presentations, PPT, etc.

Admission

I applied to Thakur College in Kandivali but I choose this college because of great faculty though it's far from my home but quality of studies important that's why I choose this college. In admission process student have to bring 2 passport size photographs and all the documents which is needed.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of this college is great especially the HOD of my department named Kavita ma'am. She super kind I am very lovable nature. There is one sir I don't know his name but is very rude and he's going to retire this December 2024. In BAMMC there will be 2 sem and 2 class test. I don't know how many students fail because this is my first year in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A Mass Media curriculum typically includes core courses like Media Writing, Communication Theory, and Media Production, providing foundational knowledge in the field. Electives such as Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media allow students to specialize. Practical experience through internships and capstone projects gives hands-on skills. The program prepares students for careers in media, journalism, or public relations.

Yes, Xavier's does offer placements to students of all courses but the students of BMS, BA economics and BScIT courses get placed the most. The placement process starts from the third year, 5th semester. The highest package offered is around 24LPA and the least would be 4-5LPA. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BAMMC since I had interest in the media field and I wamted to communicate better. The course has subjects which teach more practical and worldly things rather than the book based things. The teachers give assignments like making a documentary, short flims and analysis on certain articles which keeps us up with the actual world and makes us well practised to face the work life after graduation. The class timings are 7 am to 11.30 am which is fairly good since we get the whole day to be productive. The exam timings are kept according to the convience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to opt for the BMM course because many writers, directors, actors and ad experts and artists have studied in Khalsa College. The curriculum prepares you for real world applications by not only teaching within the portion but also outside the portion. Various recreational activities take place at the college. Areas for improvement would be to decrease the over importance of giving attention to the attendance and project submission. It's college not school the teachers soften a little and try to give students the freedom of exploring other things too. The frequency and timings if the exams are usually the same as ither colleges. There are 6 semesters carried out in three years which are 2 or 3 hours long.

Placement Experience:

Placements for BMM students are practically non-existent. And even for students from other departments, the job profiles that usually come in are for BPOs and in-store sales support. Most packages range from 2LPA to 3.5LPA. This year, there were notable entries like TCS and Ikea but the job profiles were still menial. Although, alumni support is huge and helps most students in job finding.

Remarks:

This college is known as the best college for arts in the city. It takes only the finest students which was a driving factor behind me selecting this college. The approach towards education taken by this college is quite novel. We don't have textbooks but have to rely on taking down notes and doing a lot of reading.

In every college there are bad students but majority of the students come from a good family background who come there to study. Sometimes it gets messy because of some students but the good students have not let the college reputation go down.
