Course Curriculum Overview

4

I decided my course of Civil Engineering fron this college as I was inspired by watching the demand in Construction field. Their teaching methods are too good for someon to actually achieve that.In nutshell college was good in quality education.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are big companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro who provides internahip and career opportunities. I did few projects like Floating Bridge Model and some projects on Reinforcement.

Placement Experience

3

Students can sit in for placements when they are in 7th semester. There are so many big companjes which approach pur college for placements. The percentage of students should be minimum 7sgpa to sit in an interview

Fees and Financial Aid

My first year fees was 90000 then for other semesters it was 100000. For some management quota like SC, or MAINS exam students who passed in that, college provides some relief in terms ot fees. There are numerous scholarships like AICTE.

Campus Life

4.5

There were so many cultural, sports events and festival celebration events which create a happiness among students. The classroom facilities were also good, they had projectors, big boards, clean classrooms etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility was good in terms of safety. The wardons were supportive but the food was not good at all.So, I had to manage from outside and our hostel name was LOTUS BOYS HOSTEL .It was vwry near to the college.

Admission

I chose this college because it is reputed and also have good teachers to teach. Good placements with great facilities are there. I did not get any rejection from other colleges as I was with a quota named AICTE

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio was good like 1:70. One faculty named Saurabh Sir was amazing teacher and had good skills .Exam vycke was also good, they conduct exams in every 3-4 months which is a good thing.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
