About our college

The course is majorly theory based and for relevant practical knowledge you need to work on yourself to develop any skill which is company related. In the course designed by sppu only theory knowledge is focused and practical knowledge is very less. Industrial skills are to be developed by students themselves. The courses should include practical knowledge and company related skills and even soft skills from TE itself for placements and skills

There are startups and small businesses come for placements which provide internships with placement. College doesn't provide the compulsory internships and students need to fing them on your own. Projects are given year to year but are not takes that seriously and marks are given . Internships are very rare to find and difficult to be selected . Very rare and less chance for selecting that too only for final year students is very bad

Placement ratio range is from low to medium and less students are placed till now . As students of all colleges private and government are considered as one during placement. Mostly start ups and small cap companies visit our college MNCs and mass hiring is very less . Some teachers are not understanding and cooperative in placement cell and traing for placements was conducted very late

The fees of complete course is approximately 360000 and I have a scholarship from goverment becoz of good percentage in CET where 50% of tuition fees is paid by government . The fees of the course is increasing each year . Per year after scholarship I am paying 40000 approx and fees for private student is 360000 per year and hostel costs different

Campus Life was very good and experience was good too the infrastructure is good but the placement ratio need to be better. There are many events so social is good and becoz of ncc many military personnel visit college increasing interest in ncc and values like team work are increasing

I choose this college becoz I got admission in computer engineering under government scholarship due to good CET percentile . As I got this college in first list instead of taking any risk I confirmed the admission. I applied different colleges but was offered under private quota where fees was way higher than this . The colleges like VIT, MIT and other highly rated colleges have good practical syllabus for students where students are trained well. The sports teams is not much supported in our college but other colleges do support. Admission process of our college was very easy and less complicated and 70% process was online and only documentation was offline this helps the students for admission process and makes it faster

The teaching staff of our college is very co operative and helpful. Teaching faculty is good and always supportive. Some of the placement teachers are not at all helpful and highly incooperative . The course structure is according to sppu and marking system are according to credits and pointers system. Exams are conducted according to the sppu dates and are always during festivals . Unit tests , Insem, practical and ensem these are the exams we have . Where Insem is of 30 marks and ensem 70 marks together they make 100 marks and 25 marks are internal and total of each subject is calculated and pointers is displayed according to sppu formula

The night life around our college is quite safe and good for women. But transport connectivity is not good and traffic is a great problem . Some fights have occurred in campus in events which Is a matter of attention and improvement but overall it's quite safe near our college asany leave near it in rented rooms .
