Remarks

Infrastructure of the college is good College Canteen is also great. I prefer this college because the fees is not too high, and the facilities provided by the college are also very good. At my time of admission, I checked different colleges on collegeduniya.com

I have taken this course because I had interest in computer and coding. I like to make apps and websites. The faculty of college are highly qualified in their fields and have a good experience in teaching. The exams are held by the University and the level of difficulty is moderate.

College Provide the students with various kinds of internships. The internships may be paid or unpaid. But the students will surely get the LOR and Certificate of internships form the company. While doing internship students get an opportunity to work on live projects and gain hand on experience.

Placement at DY Patil is good. The average package offered is 5 lakhs per annum for fresher. The college also provide various paid Internships for students to gain some work experience in the industry. College also helps the students for beginning their own startups.

College has tried to keep the fees as low as possible. For open category students the fees is nearly 70 Thousand. The college also provide students with educational Loan and various kinds of scholarships. The college also provide the students with internships which help the students to gain some experience and earn something.

Campus Life

Campus of the college is very peaceful and clean. We celebrate various kinds of days like Traditional Day Mismatch Day bollywood Day Retro Day. We also organise a sports week called Vijay Trophy. And we also have gatherings. The library has many books to help students gain knowledge and clean doubts.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided are wardrobe, study table, wifi , lift, washing machine, and the most important security. The food quality of the mess is very good and delicious ????. I always had that mess food is not good but I was absolutely wrong. Location of the room is not too far from the college. It's just 5-10 min drive.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

About our college

I choose this college becoz I got admission in computer engineering under government scholarship due to good CET percentile . As I got this college in first list instead of taking any risk I confirmed the admission. I applied different colleges but was offered under private quota where fees was way higher than this . The colleges like VIT, MIT and other highly rated colleges have good practical syllabus for students where students are trained well. The sports teams is not much supported in our college but other colleges do support.
