Excellent college for developing your standards

Everything here is to be enjoyed. The only thing bad is that there is a strict and rigorous academic watch on students. But to my concern, it is very good since they help you in making ready for the corporate sector.

The course curriculum is of 4 years for B.TECH students. Every department displays the respective syllabus on the opening day of the session. During your 1st year divided into 2 semesters, you will study the basic concepts of each branch of engineering. You will be marked on the sum of theory and practical. The marking is quite fair, and there are very minor discrepancies which you can correct with the help of the examination dept. After the 1st year, you will enter into your respective departments and each of them has a separate building. For every semester you will go through 2 sessionals of 30 marks each.

The placements get started with the 4th year getting started, which goes on until you pass your final semester. 80% of students are generally placed with an average of 3.5- 4 lacs. But you seriously need to maintain good academic performance. Bulk placements are being carried from companies like Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, HCl, etc.

Initially, you will be introduced to freshers where you will need to cheer up for your branch. Lol, then again you will enter into the 2nd year and again you will participate in the freshers' party. Followed with this every year the college organizes cultural and sports fest. even festivals like Navratri, Lohri, Diwali, Holi are being celebrated.

For every branch of B.TECH, the fees are the same but vary for local students. they need to pay less compared to students coming from outside. The cost generally comes around 8 lakhs for tuition fees and hostel fees is 1 lakh for a year. books are being provided from the library.

you need not contact the college to avail a loan. You directly have to access the bank and they will ask you for a bonafide certificate including fee structure from the college. Regarding scholarships, students having above 90 percent marks in boards can avail for a 15 percent scholarship in college.

The campus life is phenomenal. especially the location. Every morning you wake up and get to see an eye-catching scene mountain, greenery. Labs are being very well organized. there is no complain of ragging as rules are very strict. for cultural and sports fests are being organized and college teams are being sent to participate in different interstate or national competitions. the overall environment on campus is extraordinary, you would only regret leaving the college.

hostel fees are estimated to be 1 lakh. the cleanliness, room, beds, corridors, the cafeteria is top class. the only thing which you will miss is a cricket ground. you have two basketball courts, a gym free of cost, a lawn, etc. Bathrooms are set for 6 persons and they are very clean.

The alumni are in frequent contact with the placement cell of the college. In fact, you can find them on corporate links and job portals like linked in and you can increase your professional reach.

There will be a centralized process for the admissions, where the candidates who have filled the application form are being called up for counseling on a specific date. Even the students who haven't registered online are being given the opportunity to fill it on the spot on the counseling date. thereafter merit list will be displayed based on your 12th marks or either your JEE score.

The faculty here are very friendly and most of them are highly qualified. They are ready to cooperate even when contacted personally. Including the head of department, every faculty member is ready to help you in every possible way. In fact, the higher faculties do take around during regular classes to confirm whether students are experiencing quality education.
