Likes
- College is very progressive. It provides opportunities to every student plus it's a very friendly. It provides huge exposure to students so they don't feel overwhelmed in real world. Placement wise it's good also most of the students gets placements.
- The ratio of girls to boys is almost close to 3:1 .
- In college there are lots of food points and fun activities happening almost everyday.
Dislikes
- Teachers don't pay attention to every student.
- College management is not that much helpfull for students.
- College can be expensive for middle class people.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to lack of management in recent year course curriculum is off the mark. There is no symmetry no schedule just random for each semester which can be very hard for students to understand and there are exams almost every week.
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies have to our college Google Microsoft razorpay morgan Stanley. There is special team of teacher assigned for students to help them for there placements. Roles varies for technical jobs to non technical jobs.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are eligible for placements at starting of 6th sem companies are started for intership opportunities and full time job also. At the end of 7th sem most of the students are placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
It was 82000 per semester at my time now it's been increased to 120000 for each sem. Every year fee increase for new students. There are some charges for uniform and other things which are different for every year. Mostly there is no additional charges for courses which college provide.
Campus Life
Lots of different clubs for modeling,singing dancing panting study and hackathon etxectra. Students join these club very often which gives them exposure resulting boosting there moral and raise there confidence .
Hostel Facilities
Hostels charges are different for your need. You can choose of you want to live alone or share with 2 or 4 persons weather you want ac or not and whether you attach washroom or common washrooms. Hostels are clean regularly.
Admission
I wanted to go to thappar university but due to its fee being overbudget I had to choose chitkara if I had the money I would have definitely choosen thapar because the scope of placement for thapar is far greater than chitkara.
Faculty
Faculty are alright, there is a 75% compulsory attendance for each sem otherwise students are not allowed to enter exam hall. Students can approach faculties easily. Relationship between students and teachers are very friendly.
