A new but excellent mathematics department

Management is very helpful. For any problem, we have direct accessibility to the principal.

I was enrolled on the 1+1+1 system of Calcutta University. Besides covering the syllabus of mathematics honors, our teachers tell us of the mathematics researches that are going on currently. They also make us read some interesting developments of recent developments in mathematics.

Since it is an undergraduate college the scope of placement to job are limited. But the passed out students are doing MSc in various universities.

Navin Baran, College annual social fest -UTKARSHA, Bhasa Divas, Sports( cricket, football), Rabindra Jayanti, Teachers' day, Basanta Utsav, Rakhi Bandhan Utsav. Birthday celebration of sir Gurudas Banerjee, Saraswati Puja, republic day, Independence Day.

I have received 12000/- as a merit cum means scholarship form the govt of West Bengal. I have come to know about this scholarship from our department and then applied for it through proper channel.

Besides academics, several extracurricular activities are there. Labs, gyms are well furnished. We have carrom and TT board in our indoor game room. There is a small premise where we play short cricket and Football sometimes. Also, we have a scope of getting into a college football team or cricket team. The college teams practice in a nearby ground and participate in university Championships.

Seniors are very helpful. We are connected through google groups. They extend their help regarding academics and other issues. They also tell us of several scholarships.

Through online form fill up, I got admitted to this college. The college admission procedure starts after the publication of the result of Higher Secondary examinations. All the teacher are very much helpful. They solve every students' individual problem. Our principal sir is very helpful.
