Remarks

The college managent should give more facility to student and should reduce the course fee for students.

Entrance Preview

I gave OJEE entrance exam and i scored 3000 rank. Now I am studing chemical engineering in this college. I opted for this college because it is know for more no campus drive. So, i selected this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is all type of enginnering courses as well as diploma.

Internships Opportunities

In chemical engineering there is no facility for internship but we go to damanjodi NALCO for internship.No stipend because we go through summer training.

Placement Experience

Last year the college placed 533 students out of 700.The companys are Infosys,wipro,cognizant,capgemini,vedanta,Tech mahindra etc and package is around 3lacks per annum.

Our college organises annual fest in which many events took place and many no of students participated in this. Many cultur and technical events took place.

As i belongs to a middle class family it is little bit expensive for me which is arround 1.2 lacks per year.per it is managable for the student belongs to high class family.

The college offed a scholarship know as PRERANA which is for sc st and obc students which is 60000 per year.Idont know about the loan facility.

Obiously there is facilities for girls than boys in hostels abwell as in college.There is a lot of oriention and seminars related to sexual and political issues which is organised in college campus.

The hostel facility is not good as comlared to all leading colleges .The college took arround 60000 per year.The hostel seats are few and there are 4 to5 students living in a room.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

A Balanced Blend of Learning, Growth and Campus Life at CVRGU

I chose C V Raman Global University due to its placement, less fees and modern infrastructure and updated curriculum.
