Likes

Faculty here is good and they have good experience of teacching.
The department organize internships and workshops time to time.
The campus is very beautiful and greenery is all over the campus.

Dislikes

The cafeteria is little bit small according to the campus size and number of students present in the campus.
Seating capacity in the library of the campus is also limited .
Campus is very big, and personal vehicles are not allowed to the departments. We have to park them in the parking area near the entrance of the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

My main motive for joining the BFA (Applied Arts) course was that it would help me to develop my skills in the field of graphic designing and it will also help me in my career advancement. The exams here are held timely.

Internships Opportunities

The department does offer us internships and workshops timely. They offer workshops after the completion of the fourth semester. We did many projects related graphic designing in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.

Placement Experience

The placements here at the BFA department are decent. The companies which offer placements here are- TCS, Cedcoss Technologies, etc. Average package here is about 400000 per year. My plans after completing this course is to get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees of the BFA course at CSJM University Kanpur is 28000. The registration fees at the time of admission is 300. The scholarship is avialable through the UP Government Scheme, we just have to apply through online mode.

Campus Life

The annual fest is organized after the completion of the admission process. The books and journals are avialable in large numbers in the central library of the campus. The classrooms here at the depoartment are all digital smart classes.

Admission

I preferred to choose this college because it is the best college avialable out there in college and also it is very affordable and teachers here are very well experienced snd very good st teaching. The admission process here is very simple. Just fill the application form online and then complete the document process at the department and the admission process will be completed.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is about 112 teachers for 180 students. The faculty of graphic design is best out there. There are mid term exams as well as the semesterm exams. Also there are practicals held for every semester exams.

They supported the students a lot and was also very friendly.
My engagement with campus life and the quality of social interaction is good

I had a keen interest in painting and wanted to learn more about it. It was the best opportuinty in the area nearby and that made me take it. It had quite a reputation in the area in the specific course of Fine Arts.

Likes

The curriculum of the course helps to professional growth.
All professors and faculty behavior is very excellent.
Teachers having excellent teachings methods and mentorship quality.

Dislikes

I don't like their mode of giving notice and circular Online.
They having very strict rules and faculty members.
They r very strict even they don't allow to sit students in garden after college tyming.

Actually I liked drawing and painting thatswhy I choosed bachelor Of Fine Arts course. The curriculum prepares me very well and polish my skills. I think nothing they already having good teaching method.

A Brief tour on Amity University, Noida

Likes

The campus infrastructure was good and there was availability of food in almost every building, there was vending machine and food court with wide range of food options.
The Events. The university celebrate almost all kinds of events including cultural specific events too though the students had to coordinate for most of the things and sometimes getting attendance was a hassle
Anti bullying environment. Over the course of 4 year, I never experienced bullying of any sort from the campus. Nor I was harrassed in any way (my personal experience)

Dislikes

Attendance. Attendance was an improvement thing and you would get extra marks or can get failed due to attendance. So even for the non important classes you can suffer due to attendance issues. And you have to run around to get it done.
Not a very Social place. The university was amazing but there was no much attachment or socialising between the students. Some would make a small group and hangout outside the University. But this is not an issue. It's purely based your luck

Placement Experience:

They do have placement criterias and TOS usually come for placement (their average is 6 LPA) . But in our batch (animation batch) none of us were required. So we got offers from smaller companies. And honestly, from my experience, the company I joined wasn't that worth it. So I went to pursue Masters and Joined NID But

They provide safety for every student present there
Tge teachers are every friendly to listen and help to dolve problems

There will be no cctv cameras to look over our staf
No serious classes will held almost tge class eill be empty

I am interested in painting that's why i took this course. Not very well here geacher came to class by there own choose . Area is nice and teaching method is also nice but the issue is they came rarely.

Academics, fun and all about life at Kanpur Institute of Technology

Likes

The infrastructure is good, the grounds are good. There are two canteens in the campus. Plants and trees make it even more pleasant. There is a different ground for cricket, volleyball and other sports. Students can take sports equipment from college
Teachers and faculty are friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. Studies are taken very seriously there and whenever you need any assistance they are always there for you.
Many events are conducted now and then to keep the environment light and enjoyable. Students are incharge and look after the events for which later awards are given as well. It is fun to be there as the events are great.

Dislikes

There was not much that I disliked there only one thing is that there can be classes to teach students english who struggle with it. Personality development classes should be added.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year, students are eligible for placements. Many companies have visited and many students have been placed. Companies like Infosys, HCL technologies, IDBI Bank, NIIT, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Tech Mahindra, IGATE, Alembic pharmaceuticals and many more. The highest package is 24 lakhs and average is 7-8 lakhs. I am graduated and pursuing master of fine arts from CSJM university.

Infrastructure of the my college and natural beauty.
There highly qualified faculty provided by the institution.
Teaching method of the professor and their humble nature

Dislikes

Lot's of discipline and irritating behavior of the staff of the college
Locality of the college and impurities of the drinking materials.
Sortage of the faculty and behavior of the principal.

Remarks:

Definitely if you are not able to get any government college, then you can go for this one, in terms of acdemics this one will give best chances to grow and excel in academics. They lay much importance on attendence which is a downside of this college.

old school with new techniques

Remarks:

the positive remark about the college is the happening life of the students in the college campus. the students are also very cheerful when they get a environment like this. the only negative remark about the college is the infra of the college the building is very old and needed to be reconstructed.

I choose this collge over other college because firstly I belong to this city and this is a only government College in my Kanpur city which provied a quality of education. I didn't applied any other Colleges so I didn't get rejected from any other Colleges. The admission process of this college is very simpler first fill the university admission form that is 300 fees and then fill all the other information in smarth portal that is generalised database of so many colleges then the faculty and the college coordinators will approve your admission and sent you a email to come over college and give the writen paper and an interview and then you will enter in your college and admission granted.
