All about Vit Bhopal from a fresher

I chose Btech in Cse witn specialisation in Cloud computing and automation as i was intrested in coding since classs 10th and also because of the placements and for further academic pursuits. The timing of the exams are after every 2 to 3 months.

As a freshers i do not have much knowledge about Interships but as far as i know the College provides interships for 3rd year student that is the from the 5th semester . Companies visit to offer ppos and internships but can also take test for the same so it is upto the student if a student has worked hard enough there are good chance of grabbing the internship.

There is campus placement provided and students are most likely eligible from the 5th semester. Big MNCs like Google, Microsoft. Ebay, Paypal visit thee campus, Google hired 14 students with a super dream offer. Also mass recruiting companiesvisit the campus as well.

The 1st year fees I paid was ?201000 in which caution fee is 3000 and Tuition fees is 198000. The above fees is for 1st category students there 5 categories with tuition fees increasing with categories. Most likely there are no scholarship or financial aid provided by the college.

Advitya is the technicle festival of Vit Bhopal . It happens in the month of February. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library are good. There are projectors in classrooms and fans all over the classrooms but there is no air conditioning.

There is wifi, study table, bed, curtains, chair. The washrooms are common and are available in every floor and water cooler are also available in each floor. There is cleaning staff who would come and clean the rooms. There is laundry service for 10 for rupees per cloth and 5 extra for ironing.

I applie dfor Jec(Jabalpur Engineering colleege), Mits(Madhav Institute of technology) Gwalior. These were the two colleges that i could not confirm as these colleges take admission through Jee main in which my score was not promising enough. In Bharti Vidyapeeth pune and mumbai I was able to confirm a seat but felt vit was better. The admission in Vit bhopal is through there own entrance exam which is Viteee, other eligibility criteria are 60 percent in class 12th.

The faculty to student ratio is diffrent beacause of the ffcs but on an average it is 50:1. Though the faculties are good with taking doubts and are nice to students. I am a fresher who joined this year so have not taken a lot of classes but I really liked our faculty for Effective technicle Communication, Chandrama Swain. So far now there is no faculty i disliked. There are two exams in a semester that is mid term and end term which makes it to 4 exams a year and also there might be assignment and group activities throughout the year as well.
