VIT Bhopal review after experiencing it for a year

The course for the first and second year are less relevant to our tech related industry, but from the third year, we get complete experience of tech related subjects that help us to develop our problem solving abilities as well as developement skills.

The placement of this college is decent ,the companies that come here in every placement session offer quite a decent amount of package and ultimately makes it a worth experience as a placement oriented college,overall 90 percent of the students here get placed with an average package of 8,00,000.

The fees strucuture remains same for the 4 year course according to the catagory you have taken admission in. Hostel and mess fees are excluded from the category system, they remain same according to the type of room and the block that you have opted for. The tution fee for 1 year is 1,98,000 and the hostel fees is 1,25,130 per annum and remains constant for 4 years unless hostel room is changed.

The campus life of VIT BHOPAL is average because the campus is new and the infrastructure is still in development ,hence making it a bit lacked in terms of facilities and the decorations hence the overall experience of the campus life is not that cool and enjoyable.The clubs over here try to organize different events at different times making it a bit more fun for us and also help us to learn from the hackathons and seminars that they organize for us.

The hostel facility is average because the number of students in hostel is quite high, hence this makes it difficult for them to manage us all. The food in the hostel mess is also average. The south indian cuisine is also prefered over north indian cuisine. The registration process is parallel to the admission process and repeats with the hostel selection every year.

The biggest reason to choose this college over other colleges was placement oppurtunities as well as they have numerous companies that visit the college during every placement session. Other private colleges maybe better in terms of facilities as well as infrastructure, but the placement over here is quite decent. The admission in this college is done through VITEEE exam. After you qualify, you are given a category in which you can get the admission in any of the four campuses of this college.

Faculty of the college is experienced as well as supportive. They help us in learning new topics as well as provide us the practical assitance in many projects. The course strucutre is standard and followed in all of our four campuses. The course strucutre is well organised according to the year in which we are, hence gives us a complete experience of tech related subjects. In one year we have two semesters, each semester consists of one midterm and final term assessment with practicals included for four years.
