My experience in RSET.

As our college is an autonomous one, we here set the question papers ourselves and also evaluate the answer sheets. The curriculum is also set by the management of the college. At the odd sems it would be a little tough subjects while in the even sems it would be easy. There are slight mistakes here and there but can be adjusted.

The internship opportunities in the college is great and would help in the worldly experience. There are many companies that offer many interships to the students of our college and would also include you in any of their main projects.

Here the placement is around 95-97% with a max. salary of 3.something crores per annum. The students would get their placement during the eight semester before the sem-end exams. The min. percent to get a placement would be atleast 70%.

I have paid a sum of ?65,000 for the year for the tuition fees and the rest. The caution fees would be around 1lakh. I jave joined this institution as a management student. Many students joined this institution through merit basis and other backward classes and also they avail many opportunities.

The campus life here is excellent with many things to do. The tech fest here is a great one and also the cultural fests. The library includes books for all the subjects that the college curriculum and books for personal amusements. Theere aremany sports teams including basketball, badminton, football, table tennis etc. Also there are many clubs that are led by the students.

The boys hostel is in the compound of the college. There are two types of accommodation given in the hostel. The threes haring with a common bathroom and the two sharing with an attached bathroom. The food here is great for a hostel and include chicken meat everyday for non vegans and othe rvegan dishes for the vegans. The registration process is through the site of the college and sometimes it would irritate you with the slowness of it but you need to bear with it.

First of all, I did not wnat to go to a college that is so far away from my home as I am staying in Kozhikode, Kerala, but when i came here just to look I was excited about the college when I saw the facilities that are in the college. The main thing that fascinates me more than everytbing others was the auditorium which had a capacity of over 2000 people with centralised AC facility and large stage.

The faculty here is nice. They can be approachable anytime and they would understand and clear doubts as many times you want. There are three written exams and a practical one. Two internal exams and a sem-end exam and after that a practical exam in the labs. Most of the subjects are easy and sometimes they also can be a little tough to answer them on the sem ends.
