Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have always wanted to delve deeper in business sector and hence the reason i chose this course of BBA. The curriculum here makes sure that the subject is relevant to real world objectives and provide a much more comprehensive understanding of how things actually work in real life. They also take us to industrial visits to give us an hands on experience on how businesses functions. Apart from all this they also bring in speakers and entrepreneurs and conduct seminars.

Internships Opportunities

4

The placement cells keeps posting internship opportunities to help students get experience. Some of these internships are unpaid and some of them are paid. They pay around 7-8k per month and have a contract period of 6months

Placement Experience

4

All the seniors and ex students that i know have got placed in good companies and also in Big 4 companies. Most of the students who don't have a backlog and a decent cgpa get placed in their desired working places. Apart from all this the placement cell keeps posting internship offers and job offers for students to take up. Students in their final year are eligible for getting placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year the fees included additional admission fees so the total yearly fees came to 1,35,000rs and from the second year onwards it's 1,20,000rs. This fee can vary depending on what additional language one is choosing and from which state they are coming. Non-Karnataka students have to pay a extra fee of 5000rs. Languages like additional english, german and french cost an extra 15000rs. But choosing subjects like hindi or kannada the total fee can be as less as 100000 for karnataka students and 105000 for non- karnataka students. Apart from this scholarship facilities are also there for the economically weaker students and also meritorious students. The scholarship scheme depending on the credibility of a student can be upto 50% of the yearly fees. One of the scholarship schemes for BBA students is the management scholarship. Students availing scholarship should have atleast 75% attendance in all their subjects.

Campus Life

4.5

This college have a good campus life and each and every day is very happening. Something or the other keeps happening everyday and there is never a dull moments. Students also heavily participate in all the events and clubs and makes sure there is inclusivity everywhere. Student council helps organise some of the flagship events of our college and call in celebrities and other famous personnels.

Admission

I chose St. Joseph's University because of its legacy and also i did my research about the placement rate and the average package. Taking all this in mind the fees was also affordable compared to the other college i was looking into which was Christ Delhi NCR. Not only was the price very high there it is a fairly new college so it still isn't as established as it's counterparts Bangalore.

Faculty

4

The faculties are always there to help if any of the students have any issue. The teachers and staffs are well qualified and provide a great learning experience. They also help maintain the discipline and code of conduct followed in jesuit institutes. There are two main exams conducted in each semester. The first exam is the mid term exam of 25 marks and the final exam which is of 60marks. The total marks for a semester is 100marks. The 25 marks of end sem is combined with the marks of Two CIAs(continuous internal assessments) which are of 10 marks each. The total marks of cia and mid sem in converted to 40marks.

The infrastructure is not the best, but its an old College, so its expected to be old and weak. Rules and regulations should be a little bit more feasible, otherwise. its a great College with a great history.
