Course Curriculum Overview

4

our college completely follows our university board curriculum and they are well updated about notifications and exam patterns. In course of mbbs, they are two main branches as say, para clinical and clinical, all those of para clinical are put under first and second year of courses, and the clincial subjects are all included in final year part one and part two. It helps students to co relate the importance of para clinical topics with clinical subjects.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

After completion of four years course, our college provides internship in our college which is mandatory to complete. It lasts an year, as a medical student it is much important to expose to the clinical aspects, patients and hospital, which our college provides better number of patients.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides MBBS and para medical courses. Im studying in MBBS course, which has three categories included. First one is merit one, which is a government quota seat, which we pay around 15,000/- and with other transport and library funds include 60,000/- per year. Second one is B category seat, for the students who got missed nearly the government quota seats, which is 12,00,000/- per year, and 40,000/- for transport funds. The third one is C category seats, which are management quota, it may be different for different individuals, as per the time they admissioned and other criteria, which may costs around one crore for whole course.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of our college is better than any other college in our state. About the fests and cultural events, it may not be much of entertaining as other colleges, they conduct college day yearly. Regarding sports, our college provides best grounds for every sport, we have very large and beautiful stadium for cricket. Our college recently hosted Intermedics sports competition. Club activites are on going recently, they are multiple clubs like art club, green club, dance and singing club, etc. Students can participate in choice of interest.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are good with air conditioning facilities. our hostel also provides mess which is of extra cost. The food quality is very good, i think i have no complaints about it, one can easily adopt to them. But the common problem we face is strict rules in hostels. Regarding permissions and all they over react and over analyse things which are normal.

Admission

I choose our college in category B, and among private medical institutes ours is the best, although i also applied some other colleges along with our college. Regarding the clincal exposure and academic curriculums, i think our college is more prior than other colleges. Our college provides every academic requirement one needs, and the library is so spacious and fed with lot books which are easily available for students. I applied to our college after i appeared in NEET examination, i came here through state councselling which is done by our university. I also applied for NRI medical college, guntur, as i got rejected in first counselling, i got it here in ASRAMS.

Faculty

3.5

Respective departments in the college conduct exams regularly like internal examinations which is of board pattern. Analytical which is of multiple choice pattern exams are not conducted exclusively. And the faculty of our college are good enough to teach us in classrooms and in postings. Some departments are some sort of insufficient in faculty members but they manage it well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
