Course Curriculum Overview

The rating for the course will be good but due to Covid it's a bit difficult to countinue with its pace And areas of improvement will be lack of practical knowledge in the new methods And the timing of classes is bit strained

In internship for my course comes after clearing all subjects in 4 annual examinations And the internship duration is 1 year in which we are able to learn wide range of knowledge and the stipend is bit poor in private medical colleges

15000 Other 40000 B category 1200000 C category 2500000 Caution fee 25000 Scholarships is provided depending on the caste of the individual So total of 5 year course if takes upto 3 lakhs for a category And more for b&c category

Campus Life

Overall experience of college life is bit average and social interaction in the college for me is poor and the participation in other activities is good in sports and other than it I was a bit not interested

Admission

The other college I tried to get admission are most of them are government colleges but due heavy competition and cutoff couldn't get it And the admission process of the college is same as other colleges for neet

Faculty to student ratio is sufficient and well available also mentors also present for respective departments The course structure include total of 19 subjects in 4.5 years course. The exam system is for an annual university board exam for each respective year

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

About Asram medical college
