Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Since my UG was in Dairy technology, I wanted to increase my field and try to understand various other aspects of Food products. This course not only gives insights to food processing technology but additional minor courses has to be opted as well. For eg - Agriculture or communication

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Yes. In the last semester internship and research opportunities are provided to every student. Depending upon the requirements a student can opt according to their requirements and preferences. Scenario of stipend may vary from year to year

Placement Experience

3

I don't know about campus placements but no student is sitting idle since there are other prospects as well in which a student can pursue their work. Research and other government exams. Also it seems 100% placement is provided some students settle for lesser packages depending upon their merit credibility and needs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Okay-ish, campus and batchmates are Good. Integrity and discipline is maintained. Facilities are provided. Time management is necessary. Hostels are not provided initially to everyone but a few recieve on merit basis.

Campus Life

1

If anyone wants they can take part in any of the social aspects they can think of University can and might provide all sorts of requirements regarding the programs but timing of events may clash with work or other priorities such as classes

Admission

I wanted to study in a Centralized government University. Only 2 centralized colleges clear the eligibility requirements under CUET-Pg for dairy technology courses. I got chances to Tezpur university and private universities but opted BHU cause I thought it was better.

Faculty

4

Student to faculty ratio is still sufficient in master's but professor's are busy at times. All the professors are very knowledgeable and highly reputed. Professors try to provide with all their insights and generally never turn their back on any student. Very helpful professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did M.sc with fish and fisheries as speciality in final year because nowadays because of growing population throughout the world humans are facing hunger and shortage of food and that have had encouraged the practice of aquaculture. It not only provides food but also contributes to India's economy to large extend. And also fishes are very useful in indicating any type of water pollution due to pesticidal runoff or any other pollutants and hence quite beneficial in determining the health of aquatic ecosystems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being an excellent student in science it became my area of interest and led me to opt for higher education in this field The faculty and student ratio was quite similar to in other colleges but the classroom condition and student-teacher intersection felt better than any other college I have applied for. The whole course was divided into 4 semesters and each semester contain practices, viva, and 2 sessional tests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had selected because I wanted to do some research in this field. There are 50% boys and 50% girls in my course. All the professors of the department are well educated and come from top institutes of India. Exam happened at the period of every six months, which are quite tough for those who don't attend their classes regularly.

Placement Experience:

Actually from the 2nd semester, students can apply for placements. Almost 50-70% of students were placed in this course. The highest and lowest package of salary is offered and it depends on the performance of students. The highest salary is something 20, 000 per month on the other hand the lowest salary is 35, 000 per month. And average salary offer in course is 20, 000 per month approx. There are many companies like TCS, HTC, Wipro, Flipkart and Amazon are in our course. almost 50-70% can get internships from my college. My plan after MSC is to teach in a higher college at a high level. I am also applying for a good job.
