VIT is a world in itself

I really don't have much to say about this. I personally don't feel that they care to make it application based. It's still the same old cram and vomit in exam. For improvements i would say they could try incorporating teaching through visual AI tools instead of just notes. Frequency of exams is a little high.. Every month we have some or the other exam.

I'm currently in 2nd year so unfortunately i don't have a lot of information on the internships but yeah they send students home during the 5th sem for internships. You can either accept the one college is providing or choose on your own.

Placements are amazing. All the super dream and dream companies that come to IITs NITs and BITS, they all recruit from VIT too. Highest package usually goes up in crores and the avg package is about 11 lpa. Students become eligible for placements during their 7th sem. VIT claims 100% placement. I am planning to go abroad for higher studies though.

The fee structure depends upon your rank and the course that you have taken. So basically there are 5 categories each with separate fee. First category has to pay to lacs per annum, second - 3 lakhs per annum, third, 4 lakhs per annum, fourth- 4.5 lakhs per annum and fifth- 5 lakhs per annum. There are no such scholarships available to avail unlessn you're a state board topper. Management quota ecists but its really costly.

The clubs are fests here are amazing. We have 2 main fests every academic year namely Gravitas and Riviera. Sports facilities are also great but a little less according to the population. And yes we have over 200 clubs, many are student run. All in all, its a great campus life. Oh yea and the Library is brilliant. Nair conditioned library with 3 floors.. Its huge.

Room consists of a table, chair, shelf, and a cupboard for each person. Meal quality is really good and the menu has a great vareity of food each day. Hostels are moderately costly but affordable. Registration process is same as that of the course counselling. Its online. But the only difference is that this is first come first serve.

I got CSE in both PESU and SRM but I choose VIT due to it's brand vslue and obviously a much better and larger campus. Also i did ask a few seniors they too recommended VIT. Admission process ismt that hectic. The counseling is online and try just need your 10th and 12th marks along with your identity proof. Cutoffs differs according to thr the course you want. If you want CSE core in VIT Vellore under category 1, you'll need a rank below 500.

Every class consists about 50-60 students. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:100. They are approachable. You just need to go to their respective cabins. Difficulty of exams here vary. Sometimes they're really easy but sometimes too hard. Mit a lot of students fail though Just maybe 5-@0% of the class. The course curriculum is pretty relevant.
