Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really good and it enables the student to learn basic skills which help them to thrive in the real world.The practical knowldge gained through curriculum is really helpful.Exams are also rightly placed at the right time which help us to prepare well for university exams

Class Size: 350Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 55000,of which tution fees is 40000. We have to pay caution fees which amounts to 1 lakh and other compulsory fees like lab fees,admission fees and development fees.Fees for b cat is 12 lakhs per annum and for c category 36 lakhs per annum.Scholarships are available.

Campus Life

Overall the campus life is good.There is adequate and good interaction between students.Sports activities are conducted regularly.There are also other extracurricular activities like culturals etc.Differebt clubs are also formed for adequate participation of students.

Admission

The college was selected through the counselling process after giving neet exam.I directly got this college through the counselling process.Neet is the exam for gaining admission and the cutoffs vary in different years

Faculty

There are adequate number of faculty and as such the faculty to student ratio is good. All the faculties teach well and have great expertise in clearing doubts.Overall three exams are conducted in a year which are according to the level of university exams and are of great help for attempting university exams.

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

Placement Experience:

we have to visit our hospital from 1st year of college, and we start interacting with patients from 1st year onwards, up to 4th year we are practicing in our college and after that, we have to do an internship in our hospital only all qualified students which pass all the prof exams can do the internship, after the internship I will go for higher studies.

About Asram medical college

I choose this college because the studies in this college is very good and exposure of clinical knowlege also and has vast library named ABDUL KALAM CENTRAL library and and has very good book collection.we have crack NEET exam to get into this coarse.
