- Class rooms are fantastic with centralised ACs and cushioned seats affording 200 students

- The whole building resides in a hill, so walking up and down is hazardous job
- Programs held for special occasions are not much entertaining compared to what we see outside
- The batch consists of 150 girls and 50 boys every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes the course is relevant with the job we chose before we came here. 2nd year involves more of the hospital stuff where we can undulge in activities of doctors and operations. Various postings in different medical departments involving general medicine, surgery, OBG, pediatrica, etc
Internships Opportunities
House surgeoncy with a monthly stipend of around 10-12k rupees Research oppertunities and other options are available for PG residents and the college and hospital provides good oppertunities for studying and specialising in the subject and course
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of 1 year consist of tuition fee which is around 6 lakhs, and other special fees, library, transport, lab fees all including total of ?7,80,000. 1st year hostel is compulsory and 1 lakh hostel fees should be paid every year. There are reservations and fees deductions for categories like SC,ST, OEC etc. For NRIs around 20 lakhs is required for one year
Campus Life
Various programs like college day, convocation, onam, christmas, holi, etc are all celebrated here. There are interbatch and intercollege and even friendly competetions held repeatedly. Various clubs for our interests are also present
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms consists of: 3 people 3 beds 3 tables and chairs 3 cupboards 1 bathroom 1 wash basin Balcony if above 1st floor Good meals with non veg and veg options and north indian options every day. There are PG rooms and houses in a radius of 2 or 3 km from the college with affordable 3000-4000 ? per month
Admission
I am from Thrissur district of state Kerala, and I tried to get colleges near my home, though I didnt have enough marks to get into goverment college, this college was moderately good and the nearest I could get. At the end, I am happy I chose this college because there is nothing that I highly hate here, and the travel to home is not much a hazzle.
Faculty
There are enough faculties for the students present in each batch, and yes the faculties are easy to approach and some are friendly and will look forward to make a good relationship with the students while others are determined on making the kids suffer. Each year 3 internal examinations and 1 model exam will be held after which we qrite the university final exam. Most students even though they get low marks in the internals show up their strength in the model exam. Pass percentage is above 98% every year
