Infrastructure of college malabar medical college is good.

The thing i dont like is there is no ac in library and its not open 25 hrs

Sports here is pretty exciting and motivating coz we go to various medical colleges for the game.
Lecture halls are pretty big and cool with AC

Dislikes

No much space here to hangout with friends
Small campus no big infrastructure is present

The course is pretty hectic and too much to handle sometimes. Only someone who actually loves to hard work and work things out are able to crack through the course. It's a pretty long journey but it goes by so fast.

Likes

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose
Lab facilities are presnet for better teaching .

Dislikes

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . The exam that are held in colleges are mostly difficult bout not that difficult that an average peraon can acheive mark if they work hard or give their mind to the subjects.

Curriculum is KUHS based CBME curriculum. It's quite difficult compared to our super super senior batch who didn't have this current curriculum. Question paper has changed , mark system has changed and aetcom sessions have been added.

A good medical college to summarise

Likes

The whole college, hospital and hostel resides in a hill, so must admire the beauty and cool environment
Class rooms are fantastic with centralised ACs and cushioned seats affording 200 students
The mess food in hostel is satisfying enough compared to general hostel food

Dislikes

The whole building resides in a hill, so walking up and down is hazardous job
Programs held for special occasions are not much entertaining compared to what we see outside
The batch consists of 150 girls and 50 boys every year.

Yes the course is relevant with the job we chose before we came here. 2nd year involves more of the hospital stuff where we can undulge in activities of doctors and operations. Various postings in different medical departments involving general medicine, surgery, OBG, pediatrica, etc

The Faculties are very good at taking classes.
Sports and arts are well supported by the college
Lab facilities are very excellent for all subjects

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much good compared to other medical colleges
Syllabus is so big and complicated somewhat difficult

The course is of 5 years. 4 years of regular classes and last 1 year internship. The curriculum is a bit difficult. More pressure is implied on to the students in mbbs course. A big syllabus has to be covered in a short time span.

I chose the course as per my interest in the subject. At present there is an admission of 200 students per year. The qualification of the faculties are MBBS and MD as the basic degree with some faculties having more specializations in their field.

Remarks:

There are negative remarks. internal marks are a burden. Students acts like slaves. they deny to give attendance if we fail to pay the fees on or before due date. We often become dissapointed because of this act

A good college to pursue your mbbs degree

Remarks:

Talking about the place where the college is situated ,it's in a hilly area so that you will be tired after walking all the way to college.No refreshing areas are not there in the college premises.All the building are still renowating

Good college but campus need improvement still teacheing faculties are ver well. Supporting staff need improvement still.extra structure like road, garden need improvement.lift facilities are limit.
