The best curriculum is the vocational courses of this college this type of course ar not been used in the ranchi university. The best thing about this course is that you come to know about the marketing and with this we can be placed at different MNC to work for the organisation

The per year fee of the college is around 51000 but it vary from branch to branch and department to department.And obc , sc, st get scholarship from ekalyan and it also vary from different branch and department

There are many festivals held in the college but the main festival is Christmas. And yearly a fest is conducted by the college. In college there is a central library where N no of book has been provided and every department has also the different Library. In class we have a sitting facility and smart board for study purpose. In our college there ar different type of social groups like Rotaract, Nss etc

Admission

I have been applied for st Xavier's college ranchi and after clearing my entrance exam i have confirmed my addmission there . The main reason for choosing this college because of the vocational courses which they provide , no other colleges in ranchi provide this course . The eligibility criteria for getting admission is that your marks in intermediate should be 60% and you have to clear the entrance exam which is conducted by the college

The relation between the faculty and students is very kind they always keeps motivating us for our bright future. They are very kind toward us they always stand behind us to support us . They prepare us so that we can easily give the examination and score good marks

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree. The admission process is we have to fill an online form ,after that we have to clear an entrance ixam ,then after clearing the cutoff we get selected for the course. Thanks...Read More

Pris and cons of St Xavier's
