Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are so many curriculum influenced in my decision of choosing MBBS over other courses becacuses! The curriculum is mainly based on NTRUHS which is the main for all the medical colleges in state. The exams are occurring at nearly after a gap of 2 months and timings are always 3 hours only and the difficulty level is somewhat harder only which we can able to pass if studied better.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are available in our own college hospital only. There was also a accomodation for us.They also provide seperate block for interns. They also provide food and better facilities.the stipend amount is now they are providing approximately around 25000.Every two years they are increasing stipend around 15 percent and the stipend is paid by the government itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

My name is O.Charan Kumar Reddy from Kurnool Medical College from 2nd year.Tution fees for one year is approximately 15000 and admission fees is paid at starting only which is around 10000.There is no any change for any caste and fees is same for all.And my batchmates fees is around 110000 with hostel fees.

Campus Life

4

Mainly the fests in our medical college are convocation, freshers and college day and Vinayaka chavithi.Often these are conducted very properly. They will arrange sports also for both boys and girls and they will arrange games like volleyball, chess, table tennis, basketball, carroms, cricket, etc,The facilities in our classrooms are also better because of providing A.Cs in summer.

Hostel Facilities

4

I got admission in this college in 2022 year.During 1st year they will arrange separate block for first year students and mess will also be provided there only after 4-5 months they have to come to main dining hall and food is very good. There are so many varieties in our hostel food. They keep weekly two times chicken , biryani ,etc. Regiatration process is simple by submitting the college.

Admission

Now I am studying In kurnool Medical College in kurnool.I had applied many colleges in councelling but I got this college in second round and in first round I got svmc sri Venkateswara medical college in tirupati which is also better, but based on these two colleges I applied for this only because it is better than that college in clinical wise.

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio is satisfactory.Since it represents government college but it is normally around 25 members for 250 students. The faculty to students relationship is also good involving doubt solving and others. There are nearly 5 exams in a year. There are two internals and two prefinals and one final exam.Mainly in final exam most of the students are passes which is more than 90 percent of students had passed

Interview Experience

4

I had cleared NEET national eligibility cum entrance test in 2022.It is a national wide exam which is conducted on July 17 2022.I had got 591 marks in neet exam and I got 24952 ALL INDIA RANK.I got around 600 rank in state wide and through councelling, I got seat in this medical college.I got this college in second round.I got sri Venkateswara medical college in first round but on upgradation I got this college.

The time table of the circulum is best but they can still make it better by adding some revision classes for theory too. They have revision classes for practicals only . The classes are too fast so atleast they should add one revision class

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

It was my dream to pursue mbbs. I had worked hard for 3 years to get qualify for neet and to get a seat in medical college. No crisis of faculties.I feel it's a better faculty students ratio when compared to other medical colleges..5 -8 faculties per department Faculty qualification: mbbs followed by MD or ms, super speciality also (some) , some: diploma in respective departments Yearly-based exams conducted on January -Feb It was slightly difficult to pass unless we study from starting of the academic year and understood & knowledge about the subject
