Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is quite easy to learn and I chose it because I wanted to do mba further so I thought bcom was bit easier to learn. Bcom is 80 percent accounts so you get to learn so much about accounts. We get 3 hours for 100 marks paper so it's perfect I think

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am from general category I have to pay around 60000 annually 30000 is tution fees Caution fees is around 5k Admission fees is around 5k Development fees around 4k Lab fees 1k annually It's mostly free of cost for sc st students Students get scholarship when their parents income is less than 430000 per year.

Campus Life

4

One annual function is provided by the college and rest student manage to have fun Library have quite better books than expected Classrooms have digital learning College take special attention towards the students in sports

Admission

I applied this college because I don't have to go there regularly. No I haven't applied to other Colleges. Eligibility would be 50%+in 12th and you get the admission easily just on the basis of your 12th grades.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is tbh good in teaching. They are supportive. They pays attention towards students. And they are well mannered. I can't refer the names because I don't know about their names but I wanna say they teach well There are two semesters in a year and 1st year is quite easy . The ratio of failing and passing is like 2:8. Course curriculum is relevant as what we have studied in class 12th we get the same to learn in 1st year.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
