Dislikes
- The college is situated in a very good city in very good area having really good infrastructure having this much of things and stuff still it have some drawbacks that the college need to be make available soon.
- The college have good reputation and all things but they lack in one thing that having this reputation and architecture they don't provide hostel facilities for students this is a major drawback for students coming from very long to learn here.
- The college campus looks good from outside but college campus is very small. There is no sports grounds, sports complex available in the campus, there is no gymkhana in the campus if you have to go to ground you have to go very long.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is often considered the heart of an educational institution. Evaluating its effectiveness is crucial to ensuring that the education provided benefits students. Here are a few ways to assess the curriculum: Internal Review by Teachers – Teachers can review and revise the curriculum based on their expertise and knowledge. External Review – An external evaluation can help assess the curriculum's effectiveness from an unbiased perspective. Observation of Academic Results – Comparing academic performance over time can provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum. Student Feedback – Since students are directly impacted by the curriculum, gathering their feedback can be valuable for its development and improvement. This approach is effectively implemented here.
Internships Opportunities
That makes sense! As a first-year student, it's natural to focus on placement stats, company visits, and packages rather than details about projects and stipends under internships. You'll get more exposure to those aspects as you progress through your course. Are you interested in exploring internships early, or are you focusing more on academics right now.
Placement Experience
In this college, students become eligible for placements in their fourth year. Currently, placements are ongoing, so referring to last year's data: In 2022-23, a total of 174 companies visited and made 663 job offers. The highest package was Rs. 64 lakh, while the lowest was around Rs. 5 lakh. The placement percentage is approximately 70-80%. As for my future plans after earning my degree, they are straightforward: I aim to secure a good placement in a reputed company, build my career by improving my skills, and work towards achieving higher positions over time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for different categories in the college is as follows: Open Category: Rs. 1,27,000 per year EBC/EWS/OBC: Rs. 73,442 per year SBC/VJ/DT/NT: Rs. 19,519 per year SC/ST: Rs. 3,445 per year TFWS: Rs. 19,519 per year J&K/GOI: Rs. 27,345 per year These fees include all charges, such as lab fees, development fees, and registration fees.
Campus Life
There are events like Sports day Annual day Annual gathering Traditional day Party nights Ganesh utsav Holi And many other cultural events like that and also many other events happen in this college so In the sports and fitness side Sports events are also organised Also, colleges vs colleges happen. Academic-related events also happen.
Admission
I applied to multiple colleges and courses, and this college was always one of my preferences. It wasn’t an unexpected choice; I had already considered and planned for admission here, so I knew I would be getting in. I chose this college over others because I know many students who have graduated from here, as well as many who are currently studying. Several people in this field recommended this college to me, which influenced my decision. I did face rejections from some government colleges that I had listed higher in my preferences due to a slightly lower percentile than their cutoff. That’s why I couldn’t secure admission there.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio in this college is very good, even better than many other colleges in the state and city. So, there’s no need to worry about that. When it comes to faculty quality, I haven't come across any bad faculty members so far. All the professors are dedicated to their work, focused on teaching, and guiding students effectively. This college follows a semester-wise exam system. Since it is an autonomous institution, it has its own university and exam bodies, ensuring that everything happens on time. Unlike many universities that struggle to follow schedules for result announcements and other academic activities, this college maintains a strict and timely academic calendar.
