Course Curriculum Overview

4

• C language and other languages are teach • All languages are teaching up to date and also some shortcuts are given which helps us to understand well • Some subjects are teach in colleges which is not related to our jobs I think this lectures should not teach and focus more on tech knowledge • Exams are took just after teaching portion is finished I think there should be atleast one week gap after teaching and exam

Internships Opportunities

4

• As I in FY I don't know much about it so I can't tell proper and detail information related to it so I will not give any false information related to as I am studying in this college i will give only true information which I have

Placement Experience

4

• From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement • TCS , Cognizant, L&T ,etc visited campus and in 2024 height package for student was 7.8 lpa and average package of 4lpa • Almost 65-70% students gets placement remaining some students go for Mtech and some have there own business • My plan after getting degree is to get selected from campus placement and get more package per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

• I have paid 10000 while admission • Tution Fee - 107826 • Development Fee - 16174 • Other Fee - 4062 • Total Fee - 128062 • Fee for : OPEN~128062 OBC/EWS/EBC/SEBC~75000 SBC/NT/VJ/DT~5000 Girl candidate ~20000 TFWS~20000 • Hostel allowance scholarship is also received to students from government

Campus Life

5

• As I am in FY so till now event has been organised but as I have some senior friends they informed me events are organised is even semester like sports event and other events • High range of books are available in library and also they have give every student E-library website so every student can access it from any where • Few class have AC option but every class have screen speakers and good light source • Extracurricular activities like yoga, foreign language club , adventure club, and such 40+ club are there for students and also sports and NCC activities are held • Students from college having group on that every department group is different and particular departments message is delivered to students

Admission

• My first priority was to get admission in KIT kolhapur as there campus is big and also teaching staff is good and also placement record is high but due to less marks in CET i have not get selected. After that college DY PATIL COLLEGE ENGINEERING is best for same reason but as KIT is old every student's first priority is KIT and after that DYP for same reason. • I have put first option of KIT but as it's merit is high i not get admission in that college. • Admission process is through CAP round as per merit . Some seats are reserved for Management quota students get admission from it also at low percentage. CAP students all government scholarship but students who get admission from Management quota not get any scholarship and have to pay full fees. Cut for CSE is above 90 for Open candidates. If you get admission through there is easy process just go and submit documents in college and secure admission by giving minimum fee of college and you will immediately get college ID card and dress code while admission process.

Faculty

5

• Faculty is very friendly with students and do not give any burden on the students • Dr. R J KAMBLE sir is liked faculty because he is very friendly and teaching quality is best also Pravin Desai sir teaching best in easy language • There is no such faculty disliked by me and also other students • There is ISE 1 and ISE 2, MSE and ESE. As I am in FY my only ISE1 and MSE has over and as I have studied paper was easy for me and for some students paper was average. But yes everyone passed with good marks no one was failed. In course we are learning at all new syllabus which necessary in today's and upcoming years.

Interview Experience

5

• No I have not faced any Group Discussion or Interview while admission my admission was done through CAP round and so I have submitted only my documents and I have get admission in the college after that . And as there was no interview I will give 5 stars

Night Life

5

• Cafeteria 9-6pm Library 9-11pm public are 8-6pm • There is no college's private hostel and campus timing is 8-6pm • Most students hangout in campus or outside the because campus is not so big and at night there is all safe locality because near the campus there is police station and all people are good in that area

Other Applied Colleges

KIT's College of Engineering | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] {Hons.} (Computer Science Engineering)

I was not having that much percentile to get selected for that college

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are decent and improving every year. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Some companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and a few core and local companies. Average package is around 3 to 4 LPA and highest package goes up to 6 to 7 LPA depending on company and role. Around 60–70% students get placed, and others go for higher studies or off-campus jobs. College also provides training, aptitude classes, and interview practice to improve skills. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my technical skills and try for a good core or IT job.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placements at my college are moderate. Students become eligible from the 7th semester. A few IT and service-based companies visit, offering roles like developer, analyst, and support engineer. Average packages are modest, with limited offers. I plan to upskill, build projects, and pursue better opportunities after graduation.

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.
