Overview on GLWEC

I am interested in coding and want to become and Software engineer that is how I had intrest in this course. Our college is affiliated to Osmania University. The Circullum prepares you for real world. As we are given a good training of C python, java and also interview skills and management skills. It would be better of we are given a deep knowledge of programming languages.

In second year we are asked to do techincal projects using any programming language. We can also do projects in other feilds like physics, chemistry, English ,etc. We do internship in Wehub and other companies too.

In our college we are eligible for placements from 6th semister. Few companies that visited our college are Amazon, Wipro, Tata, Wells Fargo, etc. Highest package is 33lkp. The average package is 3-4 lkp. More than 80% students get placed every year. I plan to do MS in States after getting my degree

The college provides 2 courses 1. Computer science Engineering (CSE) 2. Computer Science (CS) . The annual tuition fee for both the courses is 75000. Based on your eamcet rank and category you can avail a complete or partial Fee reimbursement. You can apply in NRI quota i.e. Management quota for which the donation is 50000 , ome time amount.

There are many events like Spectra, xKernel, vivitsu, Hackathon, etc. There are sprots events, musical events, cultural events. There is an NSS team which help common people and do a lot of social service events

I prefered this college as it is near to my locality and Gokaraju is well known for its placements. I got a eamcet rank of 18000 and and i have BC caterogy. Hence i was eligible for a seat in this college with a partial fee reimbursement. I applied for other colleges too but i was not eligible because of my eamcet rank.

I like Josna mam, she's our chemistry faculty in first Sem. She was very supportive and cooperative. She was friendly. The Student faculty relationship is good with all faculty. Each class has a strength of 64 students, with 2 mentors. One mentor for each 32 members. The mentors are friendly and listen to our problems. Every week there will be mentor hour where we can discuss our problems about college and faculty. The faculty completes the syllabus on time. For each subject we will have tutorials which are similar to class tests, and after tutotials we'll have CIE exams, and then Sem. In 1 Sem we'll have 2 tutorials, 2 CIE, 2 lab internals. Then lab externals and Sem exams. Most of the student's pass the exam. There are few students who fail due to lack of adaptability in the new city and surroundings and course.
