- No dress code, No restrictions in the kind of dresses we wear
- Discipline, Our college only cares whether a student is regular and at least studying.
- Opportunities our college provides us, like internships and workshops etc
Dislikes
- Too much of record work which is just like printing another book as we just copy them
- Some of the faculty are really terrible in terms of teaching
- Stress that comes with continuous exams and quizzes
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the subjects in our curriculum are useful as far as both placement and gate are concerned except 1 or 2. The change I really want is number of subjects per sem, we have almost 8subs+ 3 labs per sem which is more tiring.
Fees and Financial Aid
My annual tution fees is 145000 and the semester fees is additional, it's 2.8k. I'm not eligible for any scholarship as My father is a government employee, So, I really don't know anything about scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest named "Euphoria" is held during April every year. That includes tech fest and cultural fest as well. We have access to good reference books in our library. We also have various sports events and clubs like public speaking, photography, writing etc
Admission
This college was my 1st preference. I got in to vasavi college of engineering via eamcet convenor quota. I got a rank of 3,811 in eamcet with which I was able to get IT, later I opted for sliding and got into AIML. Apart from vce I also applied for sastra, I got CSB in it but my parents didn't want me to study in another state
Faculty
Most of the teachers are friendly, Most of them are only bothered about teaching and making us understand concepts in a clear way possible My favourites are 1. Bhanu Parkash sir (calculus) 2. Jalaja Ma'am (oops) 3. Santosh sir (ds and dbms) There are almost 30+ exams each sem including lab exams, quizzes and internals. It's not that difficult to pass them.
