What Students Say

Likes

A huge clubs are for your personality development and for knowledge gaining.
Infrastructure is very nice.college has lush green campus.labs are very well maintained.
Good events and seminars organizing every months.

Dislikes

Teachers are average who teaching only ptu classified syllabus and not more focussing on skills growth.
According to college fees the college is average on an complete rating.
Also mess food are very normal according to it's mess charges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college was so old which does not help in students skills growth it only helps in theoretical knowledge.Teaching methods are good but curriculum was so old. But I choose btech AI and Ml to see about its largest job opportunities and highest growth in the future industry.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunity are quiet less here but highest internship reached is 1lpa per month here which is so students are able to making some good projects here who helps in internships.college helps students here to achieve internships from websites like internshala and others.

Placement Experience

Students from third and fourth year are eligible for campus placement here.companies like Wipro,HCl tech and tech Mahindra are visited and offered many placements but with low salary packages.some students got also higher packages.highest placement is 54.75lpa according to college data but not specified about company who got this package and average package is about 6-7 lacs. Percentage of students getting placement is about 70-75 pecent.and I don't think about placements.I also prepare in my fourth year for my placement. If I got placement by on drive campus then good and if I not getting any placement by on drive then I apply for off drive placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Yearly fees will be here is 140000 tution fees,130000 hostel+mess charges and if you like for transportation then transportation fees also included according to distance of your home from your college. Scholarships are only here Punjab sc and obc post matrix scholarships are available.

Campus Life

3.5

The college organizes good annual and technical festival in all months. In the library only academic books are available and not any novels and other good books are available.all classrooms are in good condition.College has good sports achievements.college has many social groups, clubs but college also charges money other than tution fees from students for joining any clubs and sports. Social groups and sports.

Admission

I haven't applied for any other college because I can't able to go any other places for my studies due to some reasons. I decided to study in Punjab but I have no more money due to poor financial conditions after seeing the best colleges like lpu Jalandhar and Thapar university patiala. Due to this, I choose cgc landran over other colleges. I am not rejected by any colleges because I doesn't applied at any other colleges.

Faculty

I don't want to insult any faculty. I can only say that all faculties are average and faculty-to-student relationships are good. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:60.Students passing percentages are not so bad it's ok.

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

The fees structure of these college was less as compared to other colleges and it provides better knowledge and have good infrastructure as compared to others college that's why i choose these college on others. The admission process was direct admission on the basis of your 12th marks which was have to above 75%. The college conduct only a scholarship exam for punjab students which has low family income. Honest ???? review

I am choosing this college because for engineering degree many colleges asked for our jee score and I'm not given my jee exam due to not having preparation of syllabus and on that time there is criteria of 75% above for applied for filling the jee examination. And I'm not fulfilled this. So that's why I need one best private college for my bachelor's which is fit for according to there academics, placements, campus environment, etc overall good . So I find this is good. There are so many others private colleges are there but there fees are not budget friendly for any middle class student. In CGC College of engineering there you can take admission by two methods :- 1)One is through ptu councelling:- if u are take admission through ptu councelling then there is relaxation in fees then ur academic fees is around 20,000 l/sem. 2) other one is through direct admission. There is no specific criteria but you have to score 70% above then you can get admission in any stream that you have to desire. There is no entrance exam and I'm not confirmed they accepting jee score or not ....Read More
