College experience

There are elective subjects that we can choose from 6th semester onwards those subjects are advanced technologies which help to gain knowledge and job. we can also choose mtech based on these subjects . I would say that more practical knowledge should be included in the curriculum . I felt some subjects are not relevent to the course. The difficulty level of exam is medium to hard. there are exams every month.

I got admission through management quota after qualifying KEAM (mandatory) exam. for our course, BTECH CSE no scholarships were offered . annual fee was Rs.50,000. In first year i paid 28,000(Admission fees) + 10,000(caution deposit) + 50,000(tuition fee). i.e in total 88,000 for first year only and 50,000 for upcoming years. bus fees , exam fees, uniform, arts fees etc were charged extra.

Our college has Tech fest, arts fest, which is conducted every year and association day for each branch . Library is fully equipped with books and one can go and study there peacefully. Computer labs are AC centralised and computers are available. Our college encourages sports like cricket, football, chess etc where students went on to participate in university and zonal matches. there are many clubs in the college like IEEE , sports club etc.

My marks in KEAM was low. I got just pass and I directly joined the college through Management quota . Though i had low keam marksn i didnt apply for other colleges. I would say this is one of the top self financing colleges in palakkad. This college is near to my home. KEAM is the exam accepted you have to qualify keam. NRI, MANAGEMENT and MERIT seats are available. One should score a descent mark in keam to get the merit seat.

The faculties in the computer science batch are very supportive and are always reachable. They help us in each and every situation. They are friendly. I like Sankar sir, Soumya maam , Rabeena maam and Resmi maam . They are the best. The exams are governed by the university which is external. Internal exams are directly controlled by the college The pass percentage is good in our branch. there are more than 56 papers we have to clear in the course spread over 8 semesters. The course curriculum is good
