The academics at our college is very good
The campus is very large around 250 acre . So it is not congested
There is good patient flow in this college .

Dislikes

There is no option of single or double sharing rooms
There is no any food Street or malls near the college
The food provided in the mess is not likeable by northies

The mode of teaching is very good and the professors always teach with a practical approach , many clinical cases are taught and even questions are asked in the form of clinical which helps to build the foundation

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee 1775000/yr. There is no any increment of the fees . College is situated in tumkur which is around 50 kms from Bangalore. The academics of the college are very sound . Hostel facilities are also pretty decent

Campus Life

The infrastructure of this institution is really good , there are different lecture theatres for different departments, a 500 sitting capacity auditorium , 1500 bedded hospital. Many national and local festivals are celebrated in the campus . There is also emphasis on extracurricular activities for overall development of a student.

In karnataka this deemed college is in close proximity to Bangalore as compared to other deemed universities which are situated far away . This college has a fee structure which is slightly lesser than other deemed medical College. Moreover the academics of this institution is also very strong

There are 3 internal exams per year , in which one needs to score at least 40 percent to become eligible for the final universty exams. The examination level is quite good and one needs thorough understanding of the subject to pass the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
