NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur(All You Need To Know)

1. I choose this course because it is more practical than any other course. We can relate practical things easily related to construction to our course. It will help us to study easily and even we can write our own way by observing those things. 2. It helps to understand what need to change to our society by construction process, like type of roads , buildings, even on the river( type of dams, construction,etc), metro projects, railway projects, etc. 3. I would prefer to go for more practical work rather than the theoretical. It will help to gain more knowledge and understanding the things more specifically.This should change to the college. There are different labs out there but need more faculties. 4. You have to write the exams under CCTV as it is instructed from the University ( MAKAUT). If you have a clear vision or idea about your topics , you will write the exam by your own.

The fess for the engineering branches may varies from department to department. Currently total fees for (4 years) Civil Engineering - 3 lakh Electrical engineering - 3 lakh Mechanical engineering - 3 lakh Computer science and others - 5 lakh For Lateral entry it can be changed or less than 1 lakh . During the admission you have to pay the 1st semester fees if you are not able to pay the full amount you can pay a minimum amount of 10k to 20k to book your seats. Scholarship are not available in the colleges. But there is SVMCM scholarship schemes are available for the students, they can apply it. Then yearly they will get 60k, and they need to maintain 60 % marks on those two semesters of the year.

1. 3 days of Cultural fest - Blitz 2k23 & Blitz 2k24, I have experienced. It is usually held in February, every year. 2. You will get all the books related to your courses and other journals as you want. There are two library facilities inside the campus. You can get both soft & hard copies put there. 3. There is apps regarding to the college information and about yourself called , Digi campus. 4. Indoor and Outdoor games are available.

I choose this college over the other colleges as fess is bare minimum and at the end of the engineering all you need is more knowledge and only you can get it by your own, if you can't get a job you will be the responsible for your own. College matters but at the placement your knowledge and skills matters and all the time your personality and communication skills. 2. No I didn't. But I didn't take the admission cause the amount of fees is very high. 3. You have to score minimum 60% at your 10th, it will help you in your interview selection process also. Your 12th or Diploma marks should be 75% for the eligibility criteria of admission process and govt. Scholarship ( SVMCM) .

1.The faculty to student ratio is 1:1. It is always good to interact to the faculty members. They are always helpful for everything. 2. Our Hod sir and the other faculty members of our civil Engineering dept was so much helpful. I also knew or in touch with other faculty members and professors, they all were so much helpful all the way . 3. There are good and bar in everything, so just ignore the bad and search for the good. 4. Per year 2 semesters for all the branches. Due to University guidelines you have to write your exam under CCTV Surveillance. And you have to write it properly. Those who don't study they will fail definitely.
