The ups and downs of life at Chitkara University Solan

The promise of practical case studies influenced my decision of coming here Industry parterships they have a huge network of alumnis that also affected of how i made the decision The availability of researching opportunities, i love research and gettin g admitted here have wnabled me to pursue my interest in research The teachers are good but here they focus on theoretical knowledge if they start teach more practicslly with hands on experience that would be better Curriculum updates if the college keeps on with the updates of the industry that would enable the students to be industry ready even before they finally get to a stage of being industry ready

The opportunities one can get for i ternships and placements are quite similar these things go hand in hand but i might add they are way much better than the other colleges in the region The college provides full support for bith the i ternship and the placements given the students should have skills the companies are aaking or as per the market trends

The placements are better than the competition average placements ranging form 7-8 lcs pa this year highest till now has been 36 lcs which has come to the light to us juniors More than 50%students get placed and most of the rest try for higher studies Companies visited this year were scaler(22)lcs pando and more

The academic fee that i will be paying is 70000rs for a semester and 33300 for hostel and mess and laundary for 1 semester total comes out to be 103300 for 1 semester And for one full year is 206600 Rs.

See as i have mentioned beifr ethe infra is very good there are fests happening regularly at the time of writing this there are 2 events happening simultaneously theoughtout the day today The students get many opportunities of being at the front and working in teams There are so many clubs music dance sports everything And dj nights also happen regularly for the hostelers to have fun

Histel are well maintained 4seater boys hostel 4 seater girls histel 2 seater girls hostel There's new hostel even built rn for the boys4 seater The rooms are spacious you get a single bed for one student 1table 1chair 1almirah 1mattress you only need to bring your pillow and clother and you are sorted same goes for the girls as well The food quality of the mess food is good you can actually eat food Plus the affordability of these perks that too at such a low proce of 33300 rs my god

My personal motice to join this place was the easy access to the mountains i just love mountains that was one of the resons why i joined here and i am so happy to be here one of the best decisions i get to see them daily and be calm Moreover the opportunities i get here are immense they industry connections the alumnus network the faculty the founders the curriculum when i studued all of them it made more sense to me But there's always a scope for improvement

Facutly to student ratio is good Teachers are friendly and helpful they are knowledgeable and experienced Exam pattern is like 3+1 3 sessional tets and 1end terminal examinations panned across the entire semester The vacations are also manageable
