Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is decent. The course subjects are mainly relevant in kmea engineering college. They also adds subjects which are nit even in the course for future betterment of students they also encourage us to do more internships and to study more languages

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities given about by the college has been good. There was a team called inmakes that made sure that students get enough knowledge and which was signed up by the college so the students doesnt has to pay huge amounts for internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure in kmea engineering college is mainly divided into three catogories merit, managment and nri quota.. As i have been from merit quota i have to pay 72,400 they also provide many scholarships. The management quota students fees depends upon their mark of 12 th grade

Campus Life

Campus life in kmea engineering college had been amazing. I really want to appreciate the wat they manage things . It is well maintained and well disciplined Campus life has many actovities involved in it namely tech fest, arts fest and so on

Admission

Knea engineering college had been a college i have been wanted since i was young. It was mainly because i had some relatives here and also i had a craving to study for computer science so when i got the opportunity i made sure i grab the seat ASAP

Faculty

Faculty of kmea engineering college have been good. They really teach well with the techniques they have. Their way of teaching is out of the world. They are also fun and have the same vibes as the studebts here. Knea engineering college has a variety of activities also which includes faculties as well as students in order co operate with each other more.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

An average college.

My college is situated so there is lot to explore there. We have separate buildings for every courses. The lab was very good. The college environment was very neat and tidy. The college also provided with a good canteen. Although the overall teaching quality is good, some aspects need improvements. The college is a Muslim management college. The management's attitude is like if we want to study we can,if we don't they won't pressure us. There was no other complications in taking admission in my college, everything was very easy.
