I was paid 2000 yearly also scholorship available. Since its goverment college will get all the benefit. On counsling basis students will be placed. Registration fee 50. All put to gether fee will get it 2k.

Campus Life

It is a government college we will get all the government facilities in the college like bus pass. It was excellent experience I have learnt many things in the college we have elections in college and facility wise it's good

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have taken hostel in college it is near by you can go by walk as well. So it will prefer first for outsiders we have to apply for hostel during admission. Three times food will be provided weekly once it will be provided on afternoon and weekly once non veg will be provided on dinner time yeah affordable on teast

I have applied for two colleges Salem Arts College which is related to government aid nd next Thiruvalluvar Government Arts College. I got a call to attend to attend the counselling in Thiruvalluvar college. I got literature course in counselling conducted based on cutoff. And it fix based on government norms

Faculty

Its 3 yr course There are total 6 semster in 3 yrs per year 2 semster. I like HOD Alexander he is so clam. His teaching style is really excellent. We can approch any time for any issues. All faculties approachable. Exam will be easy. Min 5 may fail to clear in single attempt

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. My experience in TGAC

Eligiblity for this course are 12th(except arts). Application form is available on TGAC website or periyar university website. It will be available on after 12 th results.
