Remarks

Everything thing about VIT vellore is very awesome. Campus, hostel, teachers, package. Everything thing is awesome, but only bad thing for me is the food :'( VIT should do something to improve this issue).

Entrance Preview

I gave VITEEE my AIR was 6300 i was interested in mechanical and computer science out of which i was getting mechanical only so i chose mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is very well planed and is totally student friendly. Here we have option to chose our own timetable which for me is an excellent thing.

Internships Opportunities

The internship experience was very good. There were lots of companies which came for internship like HCL, HP, TATA, MARUTI, BHATIA, ETC and the experience was very good.

Placement Experience

4

I'm in 3rd year so i haven't been placed yet but as per last year records of mechanical around 80% student got placed and the average package was 8 lakh per annum.

College Events

4.5

The festive season in college are one of the most awaited days in college. In VIT this festivals are celebrated very grandly and activities done during this period are very awesome. Many times big celebrities Varun dhawan have given performance over here. So overall experience of festivals were really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to student who got rank under 100 in VITEEE. Study loans are given by lots of bank.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very good. Gender ratio is of course not equal is like 75% boys and 2% girls, their are lots of extra currilar activities taught over here. Music, spots, cultural activities, etc. Lab here are very well equipped and experience in lab activities is very awesome.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms are really good. Condition of rooms are very good. Services over here is very good. But hostel fees are slightly at higher side. Mess food is not that great but i think it's common over all College.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network are very much planned and and followed. Senior students are very friendly.

Faculty

5

Faculities here are very much qualified and are very interested in teaching the course.
