Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure is based on the anna university. It is difficult to get the pass at the starting stage and then after knowing all knowledge about the exams and anna university examination rules it is easy to carryout. The college provides us with good academic learning.

Placement Experience

Placement cell gave us their 100% coaching from the first year side-by-side along with the academic. Placement cell bought companies frequently.

College Events

SNS Kalinga is a national level technical symposium, special technical workshops, paper presentations, cultural, annual day, sports day, hostel day, awareness events, sports tournaments, Tamil festival like Pongal, Saraswathi poojas are also celebrated.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted for an education loan during the first year. And I also availed the first graduate scholarship.

Campus Life

Our campus life is a gift, it provides us with a very good infrastructure for learning more about academics and life. The gender ratio is almost equal in all departments except mechanical and civil departments, laboratories are provided with updated equipment & system.

Alumni/Alumna

We had very good communication and contact with our alumni. Our seniors are not just seniors they are our brothers and sisters.

Admission

I got admission through anna university counselling. Initially, I had an interest in architecture about later I got more interest in games. Then I decide to get into computer science and engineering. I got seat through counselling and admission process in college so simple.

Faculty

Faculties provide us with very good teaching and support in both the academic and extracurricular activities. They provide us with the workbook, lecture notes, materials, university question banks, assignments etc., to achieve in our university examinations.

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.

Life At SNS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

When I approached many reputed Institutions in coimbatore Minimum they askes for about 10 lakhs of donation and fees didn't include. Fees was the major obstacle why i didn’t choose other reputed college. When i reaches other college they were not up to standards and placement was very poor.
