Course Curriculum Overview

5

I've always been into politics and i just wanted to study more about political science, it's like my favourite subject That's one thing they can work on, preparation for real world applications and further acedamic pursuits Maybe teach more about the real world too and not just the book The frequency and timings of the exams and the difficulty are all fair and fine and there's no need for improvement

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I don't really have any idea about that, I'm not into internships and usually skip it so I can't really say much about that, all i know is that opportunities comes very often and students who are interested can always be a part of it

Fees and Financial Aid

My semester fees are 12600, so 24200 a year. My admission fee was 6000 I'm a general student, my friends who take honours pays 14600 per semester, 29200 a year. We apply for scholarship and get around 12000. And yes we do have scholarships for mertis but i have no idea how much they get.

Campus Life

4

Sports week are held once a year around March and april IUN fest is held once a year too around November I've never been to the library but i think it's pretty okay No technologies are used for us, i.e BA Other courses might be using the projector The student council is the only group I'm aware of in our college, however I don't think they have a big impact on students life

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Our hostel provides a room for 2 and it's pretty big with two beds and shelfs, two tables and two chairs We get non veg three times a week and vegs 4 times a week You just come and pay the admission fee and you join the hostel, not very formal

Admission

I choose this college because my friends wanted to study here together and also because it's closer to my place I never applied to other colleges, i thought about it, there were some colleges in my mind , but in the end this happened to be the one i choose There's not entrance exam for admission in our college, they just see our class 10 and 12 percentage and select from that.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are really good and approachable for sure, and we have a healthy relationship between the students and the faculties. My favourite faculty would probably be miss subu, her teachings are very understandable and she's just a sweet person. I don't hate him but sir abemo might be the one i like the least, his explanation can be a little confusing at times. We have 2 exams a year and I'd say they're pretty fair, anyone who tries can easily pass, thing is attendance, some students fail and it's most of the time because of their attendance.

I took up English because i wanted to see change in my self . Personally, i find 3rd sem course boring and old fashioned! I like how English department teachers maintain an active co curriculum activities to make the students engaged in the subject I think it will be great if they encourage explosure learning and observatory learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose for Economics because for me unlike other subject economics is a reliable course which has a good rate of success in career and also has things to do with real life implications. Everything around us that involves money is economics! From exports and imports to buying sugar from the local shops involves the fundamentals of economics, therefore I think taking economics provides a lead in life because it teaches us how the economic world functions and provides knowledge both mathematically and theoretically which keeps us updated and aware. Unlike other subjects which has limited exams and only allows the students to write specific exams, economics has exams its own exam which provides us employment in the financial sectors and also if a person does not want to opt for it they can also appear other exams which provides them advantage. However, learning is great but learning and implying the learned knowledge makes us know more about the learned topics, therefore I would also like to say that providing students the opportunity to explore and giving them the chance to imply those mathematical equations in real life could be an area the institution could work better on.

Welll !! The course curriculum is quite well and good ! They provide proper application and further information about the course and on how to pursuit the course. Well! The course got to lessen the units for the core papers since it's too lengthy and many a times teachers find difficulty in providing the notes and explanation. If the teachers are finding it difficult it's obvious that we the students faces Total difficulty in preparimg for our exams

Remarks:

Our college has all the infrastructures that a student need for basic learning but not all for a complete standardized exposure linked to our talents. The attendance weight age is quite attentively followed and students may be dropped just because of the attendance. It's quite far from here town so, usually alot of people stay in the hostel, and staying in the hostel seems to be painful since the areas adjoin the college is a highway, and we don't have access to towns and good shops nearby in order to get our need full filled. Apart from my studies I'm also having a good time with my professors.
