The campus is really good nd big has many things to explore
There is sports complex if you r interested in any sports thn u can join that on yearly subscription

Dislikes

They have alot of student intake the more the students more the batches and sections
The comparison is too high but if you work really really hard u might also get placed in good company

U industry ready so in first year u r being started by the classes of soft skills as it will help u to enhance your public speaking skills nd help u in enhancing ur personality There are assignments given to u and mid-term and end term exams that held to check ur capabilities

You have to be well skilled as to get an internship as it will help u to gather experience. But if in Lpu u want a good internship so u have to build good skills that u should be industry ready . In Lpu u also have a different internship cell where u can go nd check how's the internship are going on

Being a fresher as talking to many senior they have told that u have to work hard for placement nd internship as u need to build skills md work on that . The average package for cse is going around 6-8 lakhs this is the average package

Fees and Financial Aid

Hi there this is a student from Lpu I'm in btech cse of batch 24-28 , so in Lpu u can h Get placed only on your own capabilities and hard work that u have to do . In terms of placements it is Okk u have to fight for that nd evn for internship but it will worth it I pay around 1.20lakh per semes fee u also hv to give their lpunest exam to avail scholarship some of my frnds are evn payin 1.14 as much any one get to avail the scholarship which is based on various factors like ur 12th score is it above 80 or not nd the lpunest majorly u can get scholarships on this basis nd on caste basis there is no scholarship their Lpu has a very big campus nd alot to explore in terms of campus it is really good nd it has markets nd a mall inside the campus so u can get anything as u want In hostels are good not too great as I'm a dayscholar so I didn't took hostel but my frnds says the hostel is Okk but some of thm that are from south nd other regions of India didn't like the mess food.

The campus is really big and u have many things to explore as it helps u even to explore yourself our university has a welfare club that helps In enhancing the ability of the students that they r interested nd want to do in there free time in that club u can join various clubs as music, dance , coding, theatre nd many more

Admission

As a non med student given jee mains and cleared that but not a good score, the College I was getting in south and I couldn't go there so I had to opt for this college because it is in my hometown and it was the only College near me

The faculty is great if the section is of 60-70 students then the class divided into to groups as thn they assign your classes nd thn u can attend ur lectures Faculty' is supporting u can ask anything anytime they will tell u The exams in starting are kinda tough not that much if study u will clear

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
