Likes
- Everything is neutral and fine there. They have Gym, library, common room for Indoor games.
- There is no raging, everybody lives in discipline.
- Our college is always good at sports and they support the athelete also.
Dislikes
- Parking slot outside the college. I will rate it 5 out of 10, there's not a lot of space so not everytime I get chance to park in the slot sometimes I use to park somewhere else.
- Water is not so purified, but eligible for drinking. And I will rate washroom 2 out of 10. Only the washroom needs development seriously.
- And nothing needs to be changed only water and the washroom.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BA because Im an athelete. and BA including history + private ssc coaching is the best for Gov job. If it doesn't work with studies then I can go in the same field with sports quota, Vice versa. Everything is fine about college and their facilities/faculties I'm not willing to say that teaching method should be developed. Many students passout with great education skills. And the exam timing is about 2.5 hours. Even if you are late then also you can give exam easily and the question is also easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
First of all when I started graduation then there was a complete course of 3 years only but now there is 4 years. So in every semester I paid between 1100-1200 Rs. If you add 2 semester of 6 months then the fee will cost up to 2400. The fee script is same for the 4 years course. If you have any sports certificate then talk to the principal or Firoz Ibrahim sir in Karim city college they will cut down 40% fees for the admission only. My friends in bachelor of computer application paid 20k to 21k for one semester. No admission fee only sem fee. Per sem 21 to 20 thousand for 4 years. Yes anybody can apply in Moma scholarship. Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarship. These scholarship can give you money upto 90% of the course fee.
Campus Life
There are many events take places every in 1-2 months like singing, dancing, acting, beat boxing, anchoring. We also have a Spark Club in which we use to organise the all event, like save drive safe life act, planting etc. Our classroom is medium in size and can be occupied by upmost 50 students. And we have projector also and the temperature is also cool without AC so no need of it. And I played University Boxing National championship at Chandigarh University from KCC. Many sports are being played here like cricket, karate, football etc and KCC also organised NCC for students.
Admission
See, first of all, it is the most famous college of Jamshedpur and it is the best college for us, our senior citizens also studied from Karim City College. You will not get to see as much development in all the colleges as you will get to see in Karim City College. Karim City College is a very developed college. And the maximum number of students in Jamshedpur are in Kareem city college. In others colleges for example ( ABM, co- operative), has not that much disciplined students, there is ragging etc. and teaching is also not done properly as compare to karim city. And I filled the online form for admission to KCC website and the rest of the process took place at the college. And keep in mind that you should have provisional certificate of 12th pass for admission.
Faculty
In BA , You will be push up to 7th semester even if you wrote one page in exam. And no need of college attendance up to 7th sem. But after 7th sem everything will be strict marks and attendance. So exam criteria is very easy. I use to give 3 exams English 1, english 2, and history. The best teacher is for me is Firoz Ibrahim coz of his kindness towards the students. And he is also sports teacher. And the English teacher Yahiya is very strict he doesn't like indiscipline.
