Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is well designed, and most of the time, every faculty thinks out of the box and promotes to upskill our skills. Each sem after we enter 3rd sem we'll be having a mini project where we have to find the solution to real-world problems which acts as a starting step for our professional journey. And in the time we be in college, we are exposed to various hackathons, workshops and many more things. Also for specific projects we are graded based on the type of solution we pose to the guide. And each 8 members will have a guide for a project who acts as a co-ordinator for our project.

Internships Opportunities

5

MCE has collaborated with Federation University Australia and is helping students to learn about the problems that could be faced in the real world. Meaning of the students get internships in the master control facility which is located in Hassan itself. Meaning of the students even went to IISC Bangalore. Not every student get the internship but yeah majority of them do get the internship based on their skill set. So I am currently in the XPMC team. They help us to work on the real-world problems and projects and project owners and project managers who are working in esteemed companies. And most of the time will be evaluated based on the project that will be working on and the solution that we pose.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 6th semester itself students are eligible for placement. Many start their own start-ups, many have succeeded in their start ups. Many companies like Accenture, ibm, bosch, benz, and many start up companies visits oir college. And placement is given to every branch from it sector to non it sectors. Highest package is around 45lpa and the least is 3.5lpa. Around 80% students get placed in esteemed companies from CS branch and i have no good idea about other branches. I'm currently focusing on upskilling my skills and aiming for getting placed in a good reputed company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise will be around 90k. It includes the fee for government and also building fund, tution fee and everything. I'm undergoing computer science and Engineering, it's an unaided courses here at Malnad hence 90k. Also extra 4200 need to be paid yearly as examination fee. For SNQ quota students it is around 24k per annum+ 4200 for examination. And for management the fee differs. Financial aid for backward classes is promoted. Also every year a student will be selected as a best outgoing student. And will be provided with lots of benifits. Also minorities will ge majority of fee in return by the government. SSP, NSP, these scholarships are promoted. SSP is around 28k and NSP is around 18k

Campus Life

5

Oh! MCE is full of events workshop. Every month we'll be having something or the other. The Malnad fest is the biggest. Last time it was held on around june. We get to see people in ethnic wares promoting different cultures. It is held for around 3 days. Each day having its own significance. Our college has one of the biggest library in the district, holding around 28k books. And each student will have a virtual library within his mobile. And our college provides good sports culture too, most of the students have played in the states, nationals on various sports. Also in extra curricular activities, mny of the students have submitted papers on national international conferences.

Admission

I have applied to dayananda sagar college, and i could have easily got a seat in their for my ranking, because of my parents i couldn't leave my hometown and MCE is close to my house. And speaking of me choosing mce over other colleges would be a good placement support. I have seen alumni working in every corner of the world. And their continous support to our college and its students. I got no rejection from any colleges yeah i did tried to agriculture domain but couldn't. Admission process is much easier, after you get your cet admission ticket just go to the college with necessary details and Fill the details completely and you will be given a college mail id and password.

Faculty

5

Faculties are all very encouraging and the faculty to student ratio is like 1 is to 30, for every faculty there'll be 30 students. And all my teachers are well versed in the subject they teach, so nothing to hate about any teachers. To say about exams they are of moderate level that matches a mindset if student of engineering. It's a good level that a below average student could get a passing marks and a above average student can score good marks.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
