Studying consistently can get u a good cgpa.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is generally considered moderate, typically ranging from 1:15 to 1:20 depending on the department and course. A moderate faculty to student ratio means that class is not overcrowded, which helps in facilitating better communication between students and professors. The majority of the faculty hold post graduate degrees, such as M.tech or ph.D in respective fields of expertise. The academic background ensures that they have a strong understanding of both theoretical concepts and pratical application.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
