Course Curriculum Overview

4

Specifically the best part about the course that I choose was that of the inclusion of my prospects and target. Bsc CS IT has a wide curriculum which includes programming languages like html, css, javascript, OOps, python, etc. Basically into the third year we'll be taught about software engineering basics, mobile application development and many more such crucial topics. Alongwith which we'll also be given a chance to work over projects by the second year itself. Through this the students are prepared thoroughly for the real world applications and further academic pursuits. Not much has to be changed into the curriculum. The semester end exams are held after every 6 months, but there will be the mod semester exam and practical exams including viva which would be ongoing from the second month of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

Recently the internship opportunity of many departments including SOCET, SOCCA has been granted the internship opportunity and 4 students are selected for the TCS intern. Not just this our students also got placed in Wappnet systems pvt. Ltd and Webelight solutions pvt Ltd with a very attractive package. To get placed with a handsome income one really needs to work hard over their annual grades and must attend the regular workshop at colleges so as to crack the interviews and placements. Projects should be techie and creative something that satisfies the human needs and idealogy.

Placement Experience

3.5

In the third year itself, a student becomes eligible for the placements so the training is started by the end of the second year. Silver oak has a specialised training and placement cells and the students are provided with an internship into company like TCS, webelight solutions pvt ltd. The students who are placed are more accurately targeted on the basis of their technical skills and their CGPA should nearly be 6 and above. My plans after getting the degree is to first train myself into the placement and training cell of my college and later practice to touch great heights.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual payment for the course is particularly less as compared to other colleges. 50,000 is the paid amount annually for those whose seeking Bsc CS-IT. Moreover, there will be a professional charge of 1500 which would be applicable twice a year. During the admission process an amount of 10000 has to be deposited to college compulsorily so as to avoid the upcoming charges

Campus Life

3.5

There are many annual events which are held into the college especially the freshers party, college carnival (after 15 years), rangmanch, garba groove workshop, etc which are seriously the centre of attraction to the college. Also in a year there are multiple tech festivals held such as tech nexus, cloud elevate, Ad making competition held so as to make students more practical and showcase their skills in the field of events.

Admission

We're eligible for the Bsc CS-IT course if one has graduated the high school with a score of 50% and above. The field of IT is open to any student who has graduated their high school from commerce, arts or science. For the admission procedure firstly we need to fill up an online form after which a visit to the college admission cell is necessary. The admission procedure is quick and easy. We need to register ourselves pay some amount for the first year and later ask for the admission receipt which will be very crucial. As I am from general category, I don't have much more knowledge about the SC/ST but surely the perks are provided into the college. The end semester exams are conducted twice a year, all in all there'll be a set of 4 exams which includes 2 mid sem as well. The admission procedure needs a little bit of tehcie solution so that those who wants to complete it by sitting at home can.

Faculty

3

The faculty department is very well set up. The faculty-to-student ratio in our college is most probably 1:70. Faculties are mostly qualified into the field of industrial service with required experience and has a degree of B.Ed which is quiet necessary. They set up a very practical example and teach on a regular basis. Only a few times there will be a chance of their absence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This includes subject like genetics ,molecular biology, immunology and others which strongly influence my decision to choose this course. It prepares students for well further academic education like MSC and research based fields.Teaching methods can be improved by adding interactive sessions, case studies, handson practice. This college includes internal exams such as unit test ,assignments, practical exams and end semesters exams which help students to stayed focused on studying. There are less difficulties faced by students who attend lectures on regular basis.
