Course Curriculum Overview

4

The best part of teaching of faculties is that they not only teach about the syllabus or the book thing but they also prepare you for the real world situation to stand out in the real world. The teaching is effective so the exams are not that tough if you study well

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are great. There are number of options you get in various companies for internship. There are paid and unpaid internship both. The company i know for internship ive worked with is younity.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. Mainly the companies are kpmg, Deloitte etc. the placement rate is according to how efficiently you give the interview and you other external courses done

Fees and Financial Aid

Since i claim reservation benifit, my fees is 2203rs and for general category the fees is around 22000. The scholarship is for sc, defence, specially abled people etc and it benifits a lot. The fees varies according to the course selected.

Campus Life

4.5

My experience of campus life is great tbh. The events, the societies, the club involvement is great. The main events are held from October month and you should participate in them cuz its fun and the support and the energy from the members is great

Admission

Before 2024,there were no cet's or entrance tests for the admission but since 2024 there is an entrance test you have to pass to take admission in this college. The cut off is not that high its around 80 to 85 percentage. There is reservation benifit and even i have availed it. And its beneficial

Faculty

4

The faculties are highly educated. Some have also done their phd. So the teaching methods are highly effective to the students. The activeness of facilities online is not that effective but you can surely approach them offline in clg and they will help you

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
