My college experience

No doubt college is among the top rated ones in Karnataka. Management is pretty good. On the whole i would say it was great being part of the college and i still recommend my juniors to get admitted to it for graduation or PG.

karnataka-CET. i opted the college as it was among the top colleges in Karnataka so had a confidence of the quality of leaning and opportunities would be getting there and the placement opportunities.

Had good course material with many events focusing on exploring things.

No college has no internship for graduates but for PG they do provide.

Placement rate was good approximately 70-80%. Core companies as well as service based companies visited. Companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Toshiba, Informatica, Robert-Basch, Continental, Kirloskar, TCS, Infosys, Tesco, Wipro and many more visit every year.

There was annual tech fest called Sparsh and cultural gathering Pleiades. Technical meet had various technical events challenging the talent of the college. Scope for International paper presentations, There were many cultural events in each department as well.

Scholarships from govt and other schemes can be claimed. College specific loan facility wasn't provided.

Campus life was great. Balanced Gender ratio and wide diversity as people from all over India were present. There was huge scope for extra curricular activities, sports, gym, social service activities, event for robot presentations, competitions for robot building, popular inter-college debate, cultural events. Whichever activity you name and a event for that was present to participate.

Alumni network is average But senior students are very helpful. They give full support and do everything needed in learning and sharing.

We had exams for evaluation of performance in intervals which involved internals and semester end exams, with lab exams involved. Not hectic, but at regular intervals to examine the knowledge level was apt.

I has opted for the Electrical Engineering stream faculty of the electrical department were highly qualified with great knowledge. But when the point was of teaching i personally felt that they were little lethargic. They focused much on formal teaching rather than in depth explanation, learning and domain knowledge.
