Course Curriculum Overview

Btech curriculum in India is quite depreciated, html css are nowhere relevant in todays industry. One has to improve and upskill personally. Never depend on academics for placements. But keep cire subject knowledge.

Top mncs come here with internship opportunity. These include Microsoft, google, paypal, phone pe, jp morgan, intuit. These companies also provide ppo according to the performance during the internship period.

Placement Experience

Placement cell is very active in vit bhopal. The processes are very rigorous. Exams are conducted quite often. Keeping the competition alive at all times, keeping a list of top performer who are given certain priority in certain Placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing btech in cse from vit bhopal. My course fee is 198000 for 1 year. And my hostel fees is 14500 permonth including mess charges. My academic fees is category 1 and it keeps increasing for higher categories for higher rank more than 100000 in viteee. Top 100 rankers and district toppers get 100% scholarship

Campus Life

Advitya is the annual fest of vit bhopal which is a 3 day event. Mohit chauhan, ayushman khurana, shurley setia have been the past performers and carious cultural events by different clubs are organized on various religious occasions. Example garba night, punjabi events, ganesh chaturthi.

Admission

Viteee is the way to enter vit for ug programmes. A rank of leass than 5000 can secure your seat in vit chennai, vellore, bhopal for cse under category 1 later than that the category keeps increasing so does the fees. Rank of more than 100000 is only eligible for bhopal and ap campus admission.

Faculty

Vit offers caltech, more of a ppt session. Depending upon the subject lab activities are performed. The teachers are adequate. 300 to 400. Approachability depends upon person to person and teacher to teacher. There are helpful faculties who provide guidance and mentorship while some are to preoccupied to care.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
