Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course that I am pursuing is an Integrated M.Sc Economics degree and right now I'm in 2nd year of my B.Sc Economics. The course is very well rated and ofcourse it is the subject which I should say deal with each and every aspect of the economy that's why I'm pursuing this course. The timing of exam is taken in two phases first the mid-semester exam which includes 2 units and then final exam which includes the overall syllabus but yes in the mid-semester exam, our university takes 2 exams in one day one core subject and another open elective subject without any prepatory leave for other exam.

Internships Opportunities

3

Well , I'm not avail any internship or placement opportunities but yes. I have heard about different companies which provide placement and even internship for students too. But in economics we don't have any seniors as our batch is the only super most senior so I can't say anything.

Placement Experience

2.5

Well in my department our batch is the supermost senior so I didn't know about placement or anything but yes I heard that that we have a separate department for career placement which provide placement to deserving students. But, mostly I have seen placement is for MBA , Zoology, etc and other departments and through the their banner I get to know that the highest placement is 8 lakh per year approximately.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fee is 10000 rupees but at the admission type they charge approximately 15000 rupees because at that time they include lab fees, tution fees ,etc .But now the fees is 20000 per year which means 10000 for one year . And yes the fees of this(sc,st) category is less than general category as they have reservations for this. About scholarship, I'm not availing any type of scholarship but yes scholarship are provided to students.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes , campus life is good overall but the site location in rural area sometime become problematic for student who sometime want to bunk classes . And about event, 2 events are organised per year one is UDAAN fest in February month which include dance fest quizzes etc and other sport COMBATICA which include sports of all categories and even javelin throw , shot put is also categorised.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is not in the campus first of all it is 1 hour away from the university but yes in 2024 it is said that the hostel will be in the campus as I said university is in under construction. And the fees for hostel accomodation is 12000 per semester and mess fess is 103 per day and the quality of food is very and very good and even menu is also changed after 6 months. And the registration process for hostel is to fill the form through university site.

Admission

The admission is based on the CUET exam which is conducted by NTA and the the criteria are cut off which is also not high. But the university also offers its own examination which is conducted by the university and the procedure for that is to register for the exam and you have to clear the exam then the cut-off which is also not very high so sometimes students also take admission through this also. The application fee is free and yes u can get updates on the university website. I personally didn't like that during the admission process they don't update about each and everything yes they update but after a very long time.

Faculty

5

The faculty of Economics Department is very good and very fast compared to other departments. As our department I should say on the leading path . The teachers are very understanding and cooperative with each and every student and encourage students to participate in each and every field also solve problems of each one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in physics so I choose bsc in physics as major subject.. As mathematics is quite related with physics so I choose it as a minor subject.. There are two phases of exams and in these phases there is a lot of time to prepare for the exams.. However teachers method of teaching was quite friendly and soft spoken ..

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.
