Remarks

As of any management, Farook college management also had some negative remarks. But at the end of the day, eventhough through conflicts and strikes, a sense of togetherness exists.

Entrance Preview

There wasn't any interview. It was based on plus two score cards. Farook college was always the favorite since i read about its cultural heritage.

Anything and everything. From a political discussion to the movie festival. All kind of social and cultural interactions take place both through debates and conflicts.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible as it is aided by goverment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. College runs a special cell exclusively for state and central allotted scholarships.

Campus Life

2

Campus life was specatcular. Discussions, film festivals, seminars, journeys, strikes, competitions...and all day was alive. They including the conflicts, were good moments of life as it brought the best out of us.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities are average and canteen also serves well. But there are much better food options just outside the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. A very good worldwide network of old students association exists and they are helpful in bringing us together.

Exam Structure

Till last year, Examinations were carried out by Calicut University. Now the college has attained autonomy and exams are carried out by the college itself in a centralized manner.

The best. Both in academic and social attitude, they contributed in large.

I chose this course as because I like English Literature. The student ratio that my class own is about 48 students in total. Majority of the teachers who are posted there are those who have qualified with NET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST). The current HOD is one of the retired Assistant Professor from one of the renowned college around Kozhikode town. Internal exam were timely, but coming to University exams it was so restless. But as if now, it is getting into the track again by conducting exams on time.
